I used NoName male2male cable I got with HDD case. Don't have the name of it or manufacturer, so I have no way of recommending it...

I would try different Burning Tool versions, if You didn't try it yet.

Oh I did try every single version out there....dunno whats my hold with this box, but I'm not able to unbrick it for some reason which makes me more determent to do lol...hopefully someone here have a solution.

EXACTLY. I don't trust a chinese rooted android device so I wanted to install supersu so that I can unroot or check permissions etc. BAM! insta-brick.

so for the last 3-4 days I'm trying to find original rom. anyway I made a sick case for it because other roms were making cpu run at 80C, now it's 38 but not software-wise not stable.

Where did you connect the power for the fan? Or use a USB fan?

change the god awful launcher by installing top tv launcher II from google play all the applications I've used are purchased from google store and latest versions. It's been 3 months since I did these so I repeat, read everything, there might be better tutorials but this is the setup I made 3 months ago and It's still working without a hitch. good luck, you'll really need to try hard to hard brick your device so don't be afraid of soft bricking

I am just trying to remove the soft brick after installing Superuser. Nothing fancy. Can someone let me know what I should be doing? There's lots of posts and various instructions. ****, I think you're Russian. The link is bullshit as is your comment that file img file for Gearbest works. It doesn't. Parse error. The USB_Burning Tool in the zip file doesn't have an install or setup file.

When my H96 Pro+ went dark, and the burning tool kept crapping out. I used Burn card maker and loaded Superceleron's 7.1.2 rom. Waited 20 minutes or so and the box came back to life.
