How is the Mele F10? (not the pro version)
Are there an other air mouses that have a headphone jack in it, which would work with the Minix x7.

Here is the link for Android 4.2.2 - Minix Neo X7 - Finless 1.4a ROM with 1080P or 720P

      ROM -> Minix Neo X7 - Android 4.2.2 - Finless 1.4a ROM (278 megs)

      Bob,
Thank you very much for the ROM.
I was able to flash this Rom instead of stock Rom that came with device.
I must admit it is one of the finest, free flowing UI I had in long time.
My network connection both thorough WIFI or thorough Ethernet has been excellent.
I really been enjoying the device.
Thanks to you and Minix for this wonderful device.

Mods, maybe we should split all this talk of Airmice to a new thread?

Sorry Skelatal, I have never used the F10, just the F10 pro, not sure what others have headphone jacks

I'm on their forum talking about this, they are working on the sleep/off power bug, not the random shutdown, they say they have not witnessed this problem

Damn! This is going to keep me busy. I will try to update Friday.
I would like to hear about any issues that show up on this new FW so I can look into it.

Been playing around with it for 1hr ish. One force shutdown when messing around with cifs mounting.

                        All over WiFi not ethernet

I run exclusively thru wifi, but I have left ethernet enabled in the settings (as all my other devices are, i.e. TV, bluray player, etc... the ethernet port on them is always enabled, even tho I don't use it).

And I have not had a single unexplained or unexpected power-down. In fact quite the opposite for my x7, it seems quite hard to actually power it down. And I have had to unplug the cord several times as the last resort to get a fresh reboot.

I have compared Hobbit 720p (7gb) with this rom and WDTV live gen 3 with 24p setting on my Sony tv many times now. My conclusion is that it is still quite amount of frameskipping/stuttering left on Minix X7. I used Archos and MX player from internal memory in my test.

If WDTV is like 99% perfect i would say that Minix X7 is around 80%. Also tested alot of other mkv with same diffrence between the two. But Hobbit is great to test when flyby over map in the beginning it is very easy to see if it is smooth or not.

I'll test tomorrow leaving Ethernet switched on as I have been switching it off every time after Rom install, this could very well be related to network traffic, as all of my sudden power downs 'seem' to be during data transfer of some description. ES, XBMC, Archos but never when watching any streamed media, often at the end of a task. ie. when a XBMC backup seems to be near the end or Titanium after a bulk backup or restore, even exiting an app that is using a networked folder (ES and Archos)

The more I think, always using an app that is using a mount or network location of some description.
