    To update, you put M8S_PRO_W-ota-20180802.182556.V0213.zip on a USB key with the recovery.img provided in the Marcello Filgueira file, that's it ?

    I unpacked and repacked the recovery with changed model name, now appear as correct M8S Pro W, you can download that here:

    After flashed this trough USB Burning Tool you can update with M8S_PRO_W-ota-20180802.182556.V0213.zip which is Android TV!!!!

    I tryed to unpack and repack the "recovery" .img named m8s PLUS with changed product name, but it fail to repack. Someone can try to do this using Amlogic Customization Tool?

    Yep, that's my guess as well. Is there a new serial number sequence for the latest hardware revision?

    Hi gyus... i just received my Mecool M8s Pro W. It came with version: M8s PRO W-userdebug 7.1.2 NHG47L 20180802.182556.V0213
    I would like to Know how to backup this Rom, bootloader for backup if necessary.

    o.O I already want to try that rom.
    The stock rom goes a little slow and sometimes kodi freezes the box completely to the point that I must unplug it
