Thanks lots rrileypm for this Rom!! It made my UT1 so much better!!

Can anyone help with getting xbmc to work right on it? I have installed the official version from http://xbmc.org/download and have set it all up but I can get it to pick up any off the hardware acceleration and sound setting, I can play SD files but no HD, they lag and sound doesn't work.

I've been playing around trying to get it working, I bumped up the cpu a bit and it is working a little better, but still no good for had, to laggy even for 720p videos

Upgraded to the new rom - Many thanks. Tried it on my 720p/1080i TV and it does not display any signal and the screen is balck. I moved to another TV which is 1080p it works fine. Also the USB ports no longer recognise my hard drives? I would really like to get it working on my older 720p/1080i TV and that is the main TV we use. Your help is much appreciated.

Just compiled 720p and 1080p kernel for UT1 from phjanderson's source repository.

Feature:
1. vsync fixed
2. support both 720p and 1080p
3. fix mac address
4. fix ir remote for both UT1 and CS918(need new kl file)
5. overclock(cpu1800, ddr720, gpu600)

All you need to do is replace this kernel with mine in the RileyROM folder. Open the flash tool and uncheck everything except kernel.img and flash without erasing IDB.

By the way, the size of this ibazzi's kernel is just half of yours (4 vs. 8 megas). Is there any important reason because yours (Randy) is bigger that the other one?

It will flash ok as long as it is smaller.

He must have removed some unnecessary code

Dont worry. It's just compressed, Nothing is removed.

One thing to consider is that when dumping you shouldn't be running any apps. Turn Wifi off so no files will be changing during the process. You will get a cleaner dump that way.

So wait for your feedback.

By the way, I'm not a kernel guy. I will try my best to improve it.

I can submit the kernel config file if someone need it.
