I'm having some problems with one micro sd card "chipsbnk flash disk 4082" 32GB (cheap chinese class 10 card) with this vandroid rom. Is this normal? Anything I can do?

Vondroid_RKM-MK802IV_Beta 3.9.12 without cam support and wifi ?

I try the Vondroid_RKM-MK802IV_Beta 3.9.12 in my s400 cozyswan. It's ok but without wi-fi (i try the old kernel too) and cam (logitech cam).
With neo rom it's all ok.

I think i found what causes the scaling in this rom , inside the
/sys/devices/virtual/display/display0.HDMI/scale
There is a line "xscale=95 yscale=95" , does any one knows if this the responsible for the
Scaling issue ?

If you need to scale the Screen go to Settings>Screen>Screen Scale and use the slider to adjust it

I don't want to scale the screen , i just want to make sure that there is no scaling is going on
And the display gives a perfect 1:1 pixel mapping , my question is does the line
"xscale=95 yscale=95" is resposible for some scaling , if so how can i cancel it as whatever i
Modify in t/sys/devices/virtual/display/display0.HDMI/scale , it resets in the next reboot , thanks.

Is possible add iwconfig utility in firmware? This is needed for adjust Wi-Fi power with TX power software.

New ROM and XBMC

Hi team!
I'm new as Android TV player user, but very intrested in evolution of new NeoROM. How is development is going? Could you inform, please, when new release will be available for the old wifi chip? Cause as after installation of new official ROM (in tested purposes) only negative impressions are occured. Additional question - which ROM with which kernels is better to use for XBMC? From which overclocking is necessary to use cooling?

Must do some final Test with him to make sure all went fine :thumbup:

You can use my Rom with any Kernel from sam321 for the old wifi.

When you use a Over Clocked Kernel make sure to use a CPU Cooler.

danke für deine tolle Arbeit, bin sehr begeistert von deiner Firmware. Jedoch hab ich eine Frage bezüglich des Internen Flashspeichers. Ist es möglich den Internen Speicher und Nand Flash zusammen zu packen, so das es wieder 8GB gesamt ist? Der Interne Speicher ist schnell voll und Apps2SD funktionieren so bei mir nicht wirklich, hab mir extra eine 32GB SD Karte gekauft und da sollen die Apps eigentlich hin.

I have a CR9 Cloudnetgo that arrived yesterday (17-09-2013) and I've noticed that official firmware sucks because there is video stuttering all over the place... I want to use the stick as a media center and this is completely unacceptable.

So I've researched and found this forum. I've seen almost all threads but I'm missing something...
I have flashed the following roms:
- MK802IV_NEWWIFI_1080p_NEOTVCROM_1_3_20130809
- Vondroid Rom ported by sam321 for old MK802-IV or UG007B
- neotvcr_mk809_3_ug007b_20130615

But none of them has wifi! That is essential to me... I'm running out of options and I'm really tired of flashing roms...

Can someone please help me?

open the device and check what WIFI chip it has and what bluetooth it has. then post here.
There's also a way to check it without opening the device with dmesg log. Abraço.

for the old WiFi MK802-IV or UG007B or QC802 with RTL8188 wifi and RDA 5876 bluetooth



I know how busy neomode must be so I ported the Vondroid Rom myself. all I have done is change the drivers so that WiFi and bluetooth work on our sticks, it is just to put us on till neomode does his ROM. The first boot will take a while so be patient


instructions
remove any SD card before flashing
launch ROM_Flash_Tool_137.exe
put your stick into flash mode
click on Erase NAND (IDB)
and then click on Flash Rom
once done the stick will reboot into CWM you can choose to reboot to system at this time

Hi,

I have a strange problem with this rom. After flashing it, I am able to activate the "null keyboard" and also select it as default.
When I setup my playstore ID, download the app "QWERTZ Tastatur Deutsch extern" and try to activate this as input method it always jumps back to the input, that was selected before.

Anyone with the same problem?
I tried some other roms, but I only have the problem with this rom. Can I be related to the 720p kernel?

EDIT2: Solved the problem. I found out, the stick just needet some reboots and maybe swearing

Maybe a stupid question but... How to update/install when you don't have the original bootloader any more?
I have installed the 1.0 version on my MK IV a while ago and now when I push the pinhole I have got some kind of stock android menu.

Can I install the .img any other way other than the batch tool or can you give me a quick guide how to?

Also, how to output 5.1 / DTS over HDMI as this is not working for me in the 1.0 version.
