"Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)" can also be the result of a bad USB cable.

Also try using USB 2 ports rather than USB 3.

I'm still getting the same errors, but to prove that there is life in the device I posted it's operation. I tried with two cables, one from my smartphone and one from an external drive. I will ask my g/f for her cable to see what happens. I tried to update drivers and chose the folder. it prompts "System already has the latest driver". So it doesnt update it.

          Regards,

                Hi ,

thanks for Pictures , but i mean PCB (otherSide) , but not so important , only look if you can find

something like a "reset" hole under the Box , maybe the one one PCB is not correct ???

Normal it must work with Win10 , but Win7 , i find , always better for older Boxes , is the cable u

use the one that came with the Box ??? as possible take this one .

Please uninstall the Drivers and try it with Drivers 4.3 or 4.4 (use Google) , or i can upload later

if u want , dont use the USB3 from PC , dont work , for Driver install on Win10 u can look on YT

for some helping Videos , sometimes good to see how it must , please try the other USB2 ports

of the Box , too , and can u once discribe what u exactly did while connecting and trying to flash

your Rom , thanks , (Picture of the cable) as possible ,

                grettings / gefattern

Believe this shit or not, It was a WIndows 10 problem. I found in my closer a REALLY OLD WinXP laptop and it read the device, and I flashed the factory ROM. It went successful. I ejected the USB device. Then went to the TV. Connected HDMI and pushed the power button. It turned blue but nothing happens. The TV HDMI input says No Signal, and the Blue LED would not toggle (turn off or on). Before it would go red but now it does nothing.
