whats wrong?
I am on a windows machine. I have a file of the kernel I want to flash along with this zip. Both are on my desktop. I click on the kernel file and while holding down I drag the kernel file over to the zip. But nothing happens. The kernel file is still on desktop and the size of the zip has not changed. What am I missing ? Probably simp!e? I try to flash anyway. But error..

best advice is to use 7zip. Open up the zip file then copy in the kernel you want.900Supersport

Struggling for time at the moment, but will try and drop by when I can.

I am trying to build an installable zip from this: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...ghlight=AP6210
I used winrar and copied over all the .img files. Moved it on the sd and then put the sd in the tv stick. Reboot into CWM, installed the .zip file, then wipe data/factory reset. Rebooted and saw the new custom ROM logo! I waited... and waited... and waited... it's stuck.
So I took a wild guess and decided to unplug the power from the TV stick, put a paperclip in the little hole in the side, then plugged the power back in it. Lo and behold, it booted into CWM!!! Yay!!!
So I decided to add all the parameter files to my .zip file, put it back in the stick, and repeated the process again. Still no go.
In the custom rom folder, there is also a file called RK3188Loader(L)_V2.13.bin. I didn't add this. Then there's also another folder called "Kernels" with a bunch more .img files (for example kernel_1.6_600_400.img). I didn't add those either. There is also some parameter files. I added the first one (called "parameter"). Didn't seem to make a difference. Tried adding all the parameter files. No go.
What do I do? Should I edit the updater-script in META-INF\com\google\android ? If so, what should I change? I don't know how to make this zip work!!!

Re: Some cwm installable zips.
There is no possibility to upgrade rk 4.2 to rk 4.4 ROM from cwm, there are new partitions and loader, and that is something we can't change from cwm.
From cwm we can't change partitions, parameters nor loaderREMEMBER, YOUR FEEDBACK IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US.My devices:
