Have a look at the pic I posted. It has 4 sections on the 3.5mm jack side. If it does then the wiring may be off and you will have to splice it and follow the pin out above to put it back together.
Also make sure you are plugged into the YPbPr port (all three rca ends are for component video) of your TV not the RCA composite (yellow single video in)
Good luck and let us know if you get it working.
Actually will be on a business trip later this week and am going to do my powerpoint on this tablet using the video out port to a projector! Should be fun.Biglots 701c

Pretty sure audio is handled by the headphone jack or the built in speaker as that's the way it worked on mu I model when I tried my component cable for my WDTVLIVE. It worked except for having to change the color around to make it happy.
I had sound from the tablets speaker as I didn't feel like trying to get behind my TV for the RCA audio cables.
It was beautiful full res video though with maybe just a tiny hint of stutter that I could barely detect.

Working TV Out Cable
I bought the following for $5.00 and it works well. I guess it's originally for INOi or Argosy HDD Media Player. I had to swap the plugs around once to get it right and unfortunately I'm not at home to see where each went.
http://www.amazon.com/INOi-Media-Player-Component-Cable/dp/B001EUEVX2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334334365&sr=8-1
I've run into two issues, neither of which I believe is a result of the cable:
The first is a bright green line that runs along the left and top edge of the output. I haven't adjusted the TV settings or anything to try to get rid of it, so perhaps that would help.
The other is that when I connected a 3.5mm male to red/white RCA cable to carry audio, the internal speaker did not turn off and the slight delay in transmission caused a very irritating "echo" effect.
Has anyone run into these issues?

What I do know now about the TV out-
I purchased a video cable from Amazon and it worked fine. I have a PMID701c with Shawn’s ICS installed and minimal apps added. I also have a new PMID701i x10, stock, and the TV out worked fine on it as well. I only tried a simple video clip from my digital camcorder in my testing, but it seemed ok to me. I ohmed my new video cable and it looks to be like the one in Post 8 in this thread. I had originally bought a Sony camcorder cable but it will need some surgery before being able to use it with the Polaroids. The cable from Amazon seems to be light weight compared to the Sony- but is does work as is.
I also found several stereo audio splitter cables, six feet, at Amazon for less than three dollars if you need one.
Link for Video Only Cable: http://www.amazon.com/Aiptek-ZCB-HDV...6790513&sr=1-3
Other quick info-
I have tried the USB port for a wireless mouse and it worked with a mini adapter. I had a powered USB hub a few years ago but have not been able to find it to complete multiple USB connections at once. I will test when found…
USB adapters at Amazon-search for: USB A Female to Mini USB B 5 Pin Male Adapter. There are several one piece molded units and well as a few short corded models as well, starting at ninety nine cents, but most are well under five dollars.
Hope this helps- PRB

Maybe they didn't pay some sort of license to include the TV out and HD or something so they're trying to make like it doesn't have it or they killed it to make whoever happy, plus they do have the versions that no longer have the output so why bother to say it will work for the older units, who knows

Too bad Polaroid went out of business-I'm falling in love with this tablet :-)
