Yes. I tried in my notebook with Win Vista and in another computer with Win XP. It always result in "Unknown device".

I don't know what to do now...

The new stock firmware appears to me ok.
I think my unit has hardware defect tho.
On the original Stock, Finless, and new Stock I get random reboots with several fullscreen apps.
With both 1080p and 720 kernels.

Most notables ProjectM, Electric Sheep... A few wallpapers when used as standalone apps.
Don't quite get it, should I RMA?
Anyone else have these issues?

I have a few days with this rom 720p and it's very nice the only thing that i need some help is that when i installed archos video player the app doesn't recognise any external usb drive is there any solution?
P.S. Dice player, MX player automatically recognise any external usb drive that i insert.

Can't boot in flash mode

Well guys, I tried a lot to boot the MK908II in flash mode with no success, with both Win Vista and XP. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

On another note, I've been waiting a full 2 months for my 908ii now...damn AliExpress....

I'm also waiting for mine. I believe it will arrive this week, hope to get a new finless with the new official rom before I get it so I don't have to change rom twice.

Have you succesfully installed the driver?
If yes then to go to flash mode put a paperclip in the hole press it then connect the otg cable to pc

Hi,
I'm having issues with mine when I tried to Flash.

It was working with the factory ROM, I went to flash this ROM and now I get no display so it is hard to tell if it is working at all.

It powers up and I can enter download mode no problems by using the button and it is detected. I can flash the ROM again no problems but with the same result.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: I managed to flash an original ROM and it seems to be working again, not sure whether I'll try again!
