Streaming video stops after a minute or so
Hi there Finless, thanks for the great ROM! Hope your new SSD is working.
I want to ask you about the following:
I'm using a Dutch app that alows me to either stream national Dutch channels online, or watch programs I've missed. It looks really good, but for some reason the stream hangs after about a minute of play (with every video). This also happens with another app I use, provided by my tv provider. It doesn't happen with Netflix, or other videoplayers I use either on my LAN or online. It also doesn't happen on my tablet and phone, using the same apps.
This is the app: https://play.google.com/store/search?q=npo&hl=nl
Could you have a look and see if this also happens to you? I'm afraid the content might only be accessible in The Netherlands, but if you (or somebody) is able to have a look, that would be great!
Perhaps this is bs, but is it possible that perhaps the app or the provider(s) recognize that it's being used on a large screen and therefor the the stream gets stopped? If so, is there a possibility to prevent the provider or the app from doing this?
Thank you!

I've installed Bob's 1.4a even before trying the original one (I use bob's on my MK808 without problems), but in this case, I have some problems with IMDB and YOUTUBE and basically an probably any streaming app (except from Netflix), the problem is that every 5 or 10 seconds buffer restarts or something like that... always, no matter if I use Wifi or Network card... any ideas ?
Looks to me like a problem with that libxxxxx library, but really don't know. Netflix works perfectly fine by the way, an so anything else.
Anyone ideas ?
Thanks.

This is not happening with Youtube, Netflix nor playing of videos using Wifi from my PC or NAS.
Anyone has any ideas ? I know Bob is kinda busy to update our version but maybe we can find some temporary fix or something....
Anyone found any HULU+ version that works on this device ? (Not for XMBC please, I'd like to use the native apk)
Thanks !

Unable to switch to Flash mode
Originally posted by NEW View PostWell, I finally did the firmware upgrade, after various issues, It worked. Now testing it.
Thanks for all.
I recently bought the MK908II but just cannot enter flash mode on a win8.1 machine. I do not have an earlier version of windows.
I have tried the following:
1. Directions by Bob(as part of the 1.4a Download)
2. Installing Rockchip drivers ( no use )
3. Disabling USB HUB after installing Drivers and then check Batch tool/Finless Flash tool.
My laptop is able to detect the device in storage mode but that is it. The moment I try to put it in flash mode, Windows detects it tries to install its own drivers and finally marks it Unspecified Device(device descriptor request failed(Code 47))
I reboot my machine after disabling digital driver signature crap of windows but still no luck.
Do you mind telling me what steps you followed
Thanks,
bunker
