That said, I've set the audio output back to HDMI and so far no shutdowns.. and I plugged the unit to an older LCD TV with slower refresh rates.. the juddering isn't so obvious. I guess this is my temporary fix for now. Using a fast refreshing LED TV only makes the juddering clearer to the eyes..

I'm using 720p kernel with 1800/600/720.. Changed display settings to 720p instead of upscaled 1080p, and using MeLe F10 Pro remote. No shutdowns or reboots, but I did get a shutdown once when I used the MeLe remote with headphones and audio output via the remote.

So it happens across units and ROMs. Minix needs to get a grip on this one. The sooner the better.

R: Minix Neo X7 - Finless 1.6 ROM - with overclock and frame skipping fix!
Ok guys, this become interesting...they are few that experience sporadic shutdowns and others don't. I personally had only shutdowns(with an wired mouse) and a 5v5a power supply, and i tried all kernels.
So remains one question....if our units are first stock that factory produce?....maybe is an hardware issue that only first stock had.
So next time we can share the purchase date....just to eliminate factory error.

But no crashes... running solid 1080p smooth as you please. I am pretty sure my unit was a 2nd batch unit. Whatever that's worth.

I have also had zero shutdowns, ran original firmware (004) for a couple days, updated to 005, now currently using Finless 1.6 (1704/600/720). Also pretty sure unit is a 2nd batch unit.
A2 mouse works with no problems after adding a 12 inch usb extension cable, with the dongle connected straight to the unit it would become very laggy and at times unresponsive.

Whats problem with portable this firmware to Minix X7 mini? Both devices have same CPU, RAM amount, etc. But after install on Mini version, after format partition only black screen and no signal after reboot. I have mini version and have very slow 1080 videos on stock firmware. Any ideas?
Thank you
