It's not the cables...
You must clean your pc well with ccleaner or a similar app and reinstall latest 2.1.7.3 usb burning tool :

and if you have windows 10 you must Disable Driver Signature Verification first and after go for the instalation of the usb tool + drivers!

i flash only via SD as i can't recognize the box in my pc.
i see that it is a common problem and for now i am using T95 rom.

Buy a usb male to male cable and you probably fix your issue like i said!
And if not recognised by the pc you must install properly the tool's drivers!

Give more details about your problem...
Like , what was the original stock firmware version and if that happened after testing a custom firmware or it was from the beginning
Also , did you try flashing a stock firmware by choosing erase all and have ticked the overwrite key?
If not do it and feedback the results

When you say it's not working what exactly do you mean?
And what is your tv box's hardware version , 4/32 or 4/64 ?
Because all the latest 4/32 tv boxes from bg are all ddr3 version (so far) !
And also what was your tv box's , working software version?

What is the version of your tv box (hardware) ?
This might explain the problem!

So , i can't see what you have ticked or not!
Also i don't see if you went to hw+ codecs and checked all except the 10bit!
Are you sure you did that?

the same with MX. i play mkv files with no problem.

Go in mx settings decoder section and check hw+ decoder (local) & hw+ decoder (network) and then go for hw+ codecs ...
There check all except the 10bit !
Now try it again and will see ...!
