      3G module

      Thank you for your work!

Maybe you know, Is there any way to disable 3G module correctly and alow Tablet to go into Deep Sleep?
      I have Pipo m6 pro 3G with RileyROM 1.1.
And even if in: Settings->More..->Mobile networks->[Modem power] is off, it actually is On and discharge the battery. If I press On and Off manually, it is Off actually

        I agree with you,
I noticed exactly the same behaviour, in fact in stby during the night the battery draw can be even more than 10%, i assume it could be due to the 3G module that doesn't go off. With both the stock and the rileyrom l've noticed that.

If you don't actually use the 3g module, you might experiment using the wifi firmware.

I think it's not a good idea, because whenever I want to use the 3g option again I need to reflash the tablet....

That's correct. But for the purpose of testing battery consumption, it is possible to flash the wifi version and see if it solves the problem.

We might find a solution in build.prop to disable the 3g modem temporarily...then enable it again when 3g is needed. I'll look into that...I think I've seen it somewhere.

Maybe it was my issue only, but I have experienced an error 491 twice- I was not able to download any application from Play store.
I had to remove google user account, clean cashe and after reboot enter account credentials again.
I am not sure if it will not repeat.

I have had similar problem with play store immediately after flashing, but now everything seems working properly.

May be it will be usefull also:
There is (in Wakelock detector) some event(module) ril-rk29-dataonly which also evokes the processor and it is possible that as irrelevant.
There is also runnig rild service, but I didn't find how to stop service in busybox =) (kill didn't help)

Ok, I'll try RileyROM 1.2 WiFi version for my Pipo m6 pro 3G in the soon and report you in that thread.

Feel free to ask any extra information

I found that the 3G module goes automatically "ON" when the tablet goes in sleep mode (that's the reason of the abnormal power consumption in standby).
I think we should tell about this behaviour directly to PIPO customer care, they probably can test it and provide a bug fix, then wait for a modified firmware by Randy...

                          I absolutely agree with you.
Besides, same issue in 1.2 Wifi version (installed on m6 pro 3g).
Could you write to customers? Or, maybe we shold write one big message?
Or do they have something simmilar to bugtracker? I know a lot of people with same issue on another forum...
