About 720p kernel, I see no advantage to use it, if you want bigger icons etc, just change DPI in build prop from 160 to 240 which will give you size like in 720p. But if you really need it I can patch 720p kernel made by Finless.

That would be amazing.

720p takes less resources than 1080p.

The main reason why I would like to try 720p is because my monitor can only go as high as 720p and rendering something at 1080p only to have it resized seems to be a waste of resources.

When I have used the stick on monitors that can do 1080p I find little to no difference between the two when watching streamed video i.e. Netflix and Youtube, etc.

Ok, I get it now. In couple of hours I will upload overclocked 720p kernels.

I uploaded it, check first post for link. It came from Finless 1.6 pack, I only patched it, haven't tried. I also add boot720.img from Finless 1.6 to the pack.

Thanks they work great. I don't overclock the CPU. I just want to pump up the GPU and RAM.

I use kernel_cpu1608_gpu600_ddr800 with finless 1.6 on my V3 and everything work (I don't change PSU or heatsink) ! With all steps, the CPU is cooler
I tried Antutu and had 19000

Do you test 3D too in Antutu? I got a V3 with same configuration : Finless rom+kernel_cpu1608_gpu600_ddr800
But when testing 3D it crashes and restart.

The latest Antutu crashes on this ROM and on my ROM based off of this. An old version I have does not.

It crashes where it should not (CPU tests) so I think Antutu has a problem. I bet you wait a week or so, and you will see an update from Antutu.

I don't have crash with Antutu but I don't know why, I can't launch OpenGL 3D test.

cheers, that worked. found a logitech ex110 in my pc stuff and it works. Just a shame my air mouse/keyboard/s don't work.
