The Team has done a new Version of the PoisonATV Firmware.

Changelog:

-Based On Tanix Firmware
-Twrp recovery installed
-OTA App Added
-Zoomtak Box support added
-Added ability for camera support
-Black & White Theme
-Some little tweaks to improve speed
-Updated Google Apps
-Unrooted use Magisk if needed

Tips
-First boot is loading all the scripts so if you encounter slower speeds and playback issues it's because of that, the second boot will fix all this.
(Must go through setup first and leave running a few minutes before second boot)
-Front display patches need to flash through TWRP 1st way is to go to settings/about/systemupdate
select your zip and choose update ....2nd way is terminal emulator .... reboot recovery then enter and will boot into recovery

Hello, i flashed this rom for the first time on my mini m8s II.
i'm having problem installing apps via play store: every app i try to install/update is on hold, but doesn't progress.
i'm using cable connection since wifi is very low in this room.
Am i doing aomething wrong?

Go to settings ... then apps and find playstore ... clear data ... you should be good to go to ... for some reason it hangs on playstore sometimes ...

I took it out ... u can still root using magisk

I've installed 2 different version of magisk in nexbox and when restart only shows bootlogo poisonatv and don't boot. Can you link the right magisk?

I have to look into this old versions used to work ... I might link u to superuser su zip but let me look into magisk first

Noticed a couple of things that dont work on Mini M8S ii

The home button wont work on remote and wont power on with remote.

Hello thank you for this ROM, I have the same problem as Davidlaz, I can't install Magisk to root this rom. After flashing Magisk I am stuck on bootloader ! Any idea how to root this rom. Installed it on a nexbox A95X.

Hi,

I've downloaded the file for S905x from the link provided under "DOWNLOADS" in post #1

The name of the file is "Archive-c68d.zip"

Are there any instructions on how to install this?

UPDATE:

I extracted the img file from Archive-c68d.zip
I used burncardmaker 2002 to burn the image to SD card.
The box started with green Android and a green "upgrade" progress bar.
It went good until almost the end (95% I would say)...and a RED cross popped up.

Burned the image again...same result.

However, if I remove the SD card, and switch on the box, it stays dead, will not switch on.

If I put back my other SD card with LibreElec on it, It won't boot....all I get is a green screen (was working before I tried the POISONATV rom)
Looks like i've bricked my box?

Good day! Root access, tested on the p212 board, the HOME key does not work, only reassigning the keys, but there is no access to previously launched applications. Playmarket does not work. What can you do about it?

I don't think your box is dead but you flashed an incorrect firmwre and you need to use usb burning tool to flash again this rom or another one.
