It will be easier you upload the the imgs(boot and system) or point me to the stock rom of the cx918. Where should I restore your backup? On my cx803ii it makes no sense. It will not work and I have a long way to get on the files.

When the reboot app not work, then I have to update su and superuser.

I could work only in the evening on the rom. At daylight my family has some work for me...

i no have a rom... i have a box :-)
if i make backup with cwm... you have a tar file of system
you can open with winrar
boot and kernel are image file and they are ok for you
i dont' know how i can make a system image file...

Do we really understand each other?

The microphone is not always the same hardware in the TV-sticks and it depends on different sound chips, too.

i flash a generic cwm... but mouse dont' work...
now after some flash..... it boot always in boot mode...
and so i cannot make a backup...
the chipset is same of cx803.... i see it in setting of new cx818...
i try to found another new cx818 box...

I guess with you is a fault occur during cooking of Rom
I unpacked system.img and put back in Windows,
flash system.img and WiFi work

If you have a cx818 and the cx818 has the same hardware as the cx803, we could use a ROM of neomode or there is another one in the thread. Please read before I try to fix a rom without microphone.

If the cx818 has the same wifi, audio and usb hardware as the cx803, we have enough option.
