hi newbie here,just purchased a T95 max android tv box and cannot get it to connect to internet,wi-fi says connected but will not connect to internet same problem with ethernet,been trying for 3 days no joy and i am not really computer savvy any ideas.

I tested device today since I sold my flashed X92.

I am facing other severe issues: Apps keep crashing ( maybe not optimised for Android 9?) and I cant sign into Playstore! Just black screen.

This is my firmware: franklin-user 9 PI 20190525 release-keys

Kernel: 4.9.113

I guess I will flash open gapps on it and see whats happening...

That's the same firmware build with my box. How to enter recovery mode in this box?
Edit : i can enter recovery mode and factory reset. But still stuck after boot animation

Since I am located in the EU I recommend to all EU citizen to buy through **** and pay via Paypal for one reason: I will open up case at paypal and return device (it is possible to open up case within 6 month). Really crappy...best: Paypal is taking over return costs..

I dont think it depends on firmware, maybe they changed chip?

Do you have RT 8189?

I guess it is combo wifi / bt

i haven't open the case, how to know the wifi chip w/o opening it?
wifi works fine tho, i think it is firmware bug since bluetooth setting always force close when i click "+ device to pair" and the bluetooth switch always back to off if I leave the page.
Later on when i check all system apps theres no bluetooth app in system app list like "bluetooth share" app or something, none of it.
Could you give any info of your firmware info and maybe check your system apps for bluetooth share or else. Thank you

Hi soldiaz, i just got my hk1 play, i got trouble turning Bluetooth on, it seems it can't turn on and cannot detect any of my Bluetooth devices. Could you inform on what firmware you are using? I'm on kernel 4.9.113 may 21st 2019 build. Thanks
