Patched libmedia.so for CS968 stock firmware to enable XBMC's spdif/hdmi passthrough.

The original firmware already support passthrough, but the xbmc can't use it properly. However, the passthrough can be enabled by a hack. This hack include two part, one is a modified libmedia.so. the other is a tweaked XBMC, for detail referred to the awesome dude stafstrom who found this solution (also the download link of tweaked XBMC can be found there): http://minixforums.com/threads/how-t...nd-spdif.2071/.

As he mentioned it is a binary patch, so I figured it might be possible to do it myself on my CS968. I spent some time figuring out what has been patched. And the result is this working libmedia.so which you may find in the attachment.

How to use:
1. mount /system as rw
2. replace /system/lib/libmedia.so with this new file
3. reboot
4. enjoy!

Sorry, I don't use xbmc, but I will try it. I'm so far more a tablet guy.
I think we should try to built a rom with 1080p base. Collecting the issues is the first step. I reflash the cloudnet 1080 / 2MP and check deeper.
Issue list start:

Flash player
and what else?
All together we will get a smooth and stable rom.

My TV is LG 42" - 1920x1080.
Original Firmware (factory) - 1920x1080 = ok.
CS968 Custom Firmware -- "GEASS" -- ver. 1 - 1920x1080 = ok.
Firmware - CR11S_200M_cloudnetgo_ap6210_20131105_update = NOT ok.
Firmware - htc_t018_pubilic_ap6210_20131122 = NOT ok.

Tech1, we are talking not directly about libmedia. This will be a later step. I'm searching for the best firmware to built a rom with some improvements.
Wepipsum I will upload the ROM I mean later. Then you can check, if it works really in 1080.
