As I mentioned before, I know that we all are a bit anxious, but I think we have to wait patiently until NeoMode can finish and test thoroughly before launch.

If anyone needs the latest YouTube app for this rom you'll have to uninstall the 'theos0o youtube' using Titanium, reboot, and then go into Google Play to reinstall. Not a big issue but the newer YouTube has some neat features that you'll experience in the Finless roms that you might be missing here.

my wifi doesn't work for now.
and i can't find USB to ethernet converter for now.

Use a computer and search for the apps that you want to install (Example: The Weather Channel apk). Save them to a thumb drive. On your Android stick open the APK using ES File Explorer.

Exactly! I'm chomping at the bit for a rework of 1.7 as well, but with the heavy list of bugs, tweaks and mod requests there needs to be a halt on requests. I propose that from here on, any and all such posts be deemed applicable to the next ROM release. Neomode. Good Sir, what say you?

Yes it is. But it seems the Users have issues with it. But recheck it.

great rom but

This is the best rom that i tried so far for mk802 iv. It plays everything local just perfect and also netflix, but if i play something from my nas server, it stops playing and closes down MX player after 20 mins +/-. This happens with both WiFi and USB ethernet adapter.

My laptop and my smartphone plays everything just fine from the nas. Any suggestions?

I use the power adapter that came in the box.. When i transfer files to and from my nas on the mk802iv it never passes 3.5 mb/s. Could that also be a power adapter related issue?
What kind of power adapter would be better than the standard one?

By the way, thank you very much for your great work. If it was'nt for you, this device would be a useless piece of junk.

You need a Power Supply with 3A.
Often the PS comes with the devices a piece of crap.

I've a problem with my QC802, problem that is present on all rom i've tried (stock, Neomode v1.3 and 1.7): randomly, some apps return to desktop without any alert.
Browsers, youtube, games...the may works for hours or they may close to desk very often.
I notice that this occurs more frequently on the first minutes after a boot.

Someone know how fix this issue?

I have the MK802IV 8Gb 2nd gen. with Neomode Hybrid ROM 1.7 flashed and it works very well, but I have got the same issue.
Randomly, the apps minimizes to desktop tray with no message.

Any idea for fixing?

Unfortunately the only solution I've found is change ROM.
I've tried also Picuntu and Lubuntu. They work pretty well, but without hardware acceleration I prefered return to Android.
As last try, I've flashed the lastest Rikomagic firmware.
It's 1080p (my TV is HDReady so I would have preferred 720p) but it seems to works good.
In the last week no crash to desktop and only one reboot (on Chrome upgrade).
