I also don't like Alice UX.
So, I install a launcher of my choice, in this case, Square Home Launcher and disable (freeze) Alice UX with the application: Disable Application [Root].
With the chosen launcher, I am free of the Alice UX interface, annoying notifications and squeaky sounds.
As for Kodi's performance, stuttery video and disconnecting bluetooth, I can't tell you. I'll see if I can simulate it here.
    Greetings.

So far I haven't noticed any difference (except temperature) between the 20200730 and 20201022 firmwares.
This weekend, I'm going to do some more tests.
Besides the problem with the temperature of the TX6S with stock firmware, what are the other reasons that motivated you to change the firmware of your TX6S to the alternative firmware Transpeed?
    Good weekend.

    Good question, Young Boxer .
In order to do the tests I did not go deeply into the features of the different firmwares.
I am now installing the apps and then I will check.
The only thing I can say is that the temperature is better than in the initial stock firmware (20200730).
Wait ... I believe that tomorrow I can have more information.
As for this Allwinner we do not have TWRP to backup the installation, I think it is better to take it easy.

[B1MAX-20200225.img] has this other download option from the Bqueel - Downloads (third item) website, but they never shared the firmware.

    Friends.

I did temperature tests with the firmware below and for each test step I left the TX6S for 15 minutes running the functionality.

A simple test using a YouTube video: The Amazing Colors of Nature in 4K III ?Colorful Animals. Anti-Stress and Relaxation Music

    TX6S (Stock Firmware)
    [Tanix-Box_com-TX6s_android10_20200730.img] - Tks bruski
    4K 2160p 3840x2160@30: 90°C
    FHD 1080p 1920x1080@30: 82°C
    HOME (no activity): 3840X2160@60: 71°C
    CLOCK: OK!

    TX6S (Firmware B1 MAX H616)
    [B1MAX-20200225.img]
    4K 2160p 3840x2160@30: 92°C
    FHD 1080p 1920x1080@30: 85°C
    HOME (no activity) 3840X2160@60: 72°C
    CLOCK: OK!

    TX6S (Firmware Transpeed H616) - Tks Boxer
    [Transpeed-H616_4-32_20200812.img]
    4K 2160p 3840x2160@30: 84°C
    FHD 1080p 1920x1080@30: 77°C
    HOME (no activity) 3840X2160@60: 67°C
    CLOCK: Crazy

    TX6S (Firmware do T95 H616)
    [T95-H616-XR819-10.1.X18.img]
    4K 2160p 3840x2160@30: 85°C
    FHD 1080p 1920x1080@30: 77°C
    HOME (no activity) 3840X2160@60: 68°C 70°C
    CLOCK: Does not work
NOTE: The T95-H616-XR819-10.1.X19.img version is not suitable. Freezes at boot after applying the firmware.

TX6S (Stock Firmware Latest Version) (I believe!)
    [TX6s_android10_Oranth_H616_20201022.img] -
    Tks onlyonce
    4K 2160p 3840x2160@30: 84ºC
    FHD 1080p 1920x1080@30: 77°C
    HOME (no activity) 3840X2160@60: 69°C
    CLOCK: 0K!

    CONCLUSION:
The temperature of the stock firmware: TX6s_android10_Oranth_H616_20201022.img, has a temperature similar to that of the alternative software (except B1MAX-20200225.img) and much better than the initial (original) stock firmware (Tanix-Box_com-TX6s_android10_20200730.img).
Therefore, I applied the TX6s_android10_Oranth_H616_20201022.img firmware and if there is any more news I will inform you here.

    Best regard.

Just to add to the above and already mentioned the T95 H616 ROM is nice and with root switch but has a faulty Google Play store with no update capability of the installed apps.

The latest Tanix Tx6s ROM has video stutter problems and problems of playing certain video formats (freeze-ups). The constant disconnecting/connecting of Bluetooth devices is also very annoying.

In all, the latest Transpeed H616 ROM is behaving best with lower CPU temperature but lacking root and correct clock display.

Your post appeared here as unapproved.
Suggestion: edit the quote, leaving only the first lines.
I configured the 3 firmwares in 4K and didn't notice the difference, but as this "TX6S has behaviors that neither Sigmund Freud and Erich Fromm explains ..." (lol)
    Thanks.
I have not had the opportunity to test the tv box on a different 4K panel. Maybe the sotock Tanix firmware doesn't like my TV.

As I understand it you have a TX6S with the Transpeed-H616_4-32_20200812 firmware.
    That's right?
    I'm using firmware Transpeed-H616_ATV_OT.DO_20200812_1008
