Let me know if one of them is working for you. On my tablet both kernels are stable.

CPU 1.7Ghz / GPU 600Mhz / RAM 720Mhz LOW VOLTAGE also called "target"

Thats the one i'm using now and thats the 'sweetspot' kernel for me.

Guys, this might sound stupid but what do you mean by unstable, I mean what are the symptoms?

        it depends:
        app crashes
        app freeze
        android strange error messages
        bootloops
        android reboots
        android lockups

you can test the stability with the following apps:
        antutu (benchmark and stability test)
        stability test
        3dmark
        geekbench
        ...

Thanks Giouncino for the answer and the work on the kernels!

            Very very unlucky CPU!!!

No one of the kernels from giouncino are working on my tablet!

I tried 1.7GHz low voltage, then the +25 mV and last the +50 mV but no one of those boots,

so I revert back to the first 1.7, 600, 720 made at the beginning that runs smoothly for me.

What's the matter with this low voltage kernels?

Thanks again giouncino for your job

Hi all. How can i flash kernel (kernel_cpu1800h_gpu798h_ddr792_low_voltages.img) on a stock firmware in my m6 pro 3g?

I try to flash a kernel from ROM_Flash_Tool_137. All done, no errors, but SetCPU show 1607MHz, not 1800.

Your problem is the ram for sure, not the CPU... the only difference is the ram clocked to 792Mhz.
Don't worry, the difference between the ram at 720 or 792 is invisible...
the kernel that is working for you is very good in term of performance and even better in term of power saving.
Are you able to verify the difference in battery duration between the stock kernel and my kernel you're using?

I think that for a normal use it should be nealy 20-30% more than the stock. For my tablet is more or less like this.

Hey giouncino, can you tell me, why you added 25mv to every clockstep and not only at the peak freaquency? It doesnt really make sense for me

                  EDIT:

got it... i missed to compare to stock voltage

Uh, just posted in Pipo M7 Pro RileyROM 2.1.1 thread with my version for M7 and found later this thread.
I've got my M7 working stable on 1704/600/720 with stock voltages and 1350 mV for 1704. AnTuTu 20851 in performance mode.
BTW, in stock M7 ROM from 102813 kernel voltage for 1608 MHz CPU is 1275 mV.
So, I'll play with reduced voltages now.

Even when antutu is stable, sometimes vellamo or geekbench crashes... so don't count only on antutu... give 'em as much load as possible to check stability....

Too high voltage for the 1704Mhz. It could works also with 1275 or 1250mV.
I suggest you to reduce also the voltages to the other frequency maintainting the system stability.
You can save a lot of battery in this way!

Re: Binary patched kernels for Pipo models

I use the kernel cpu1704 gpu600 ddr792 low voltages, the stability chart is very good on antutu and I get 19800 score on HD MODE. I also launched GFXbench, this is the result (I don't know how to interpret them).

Everything seems good, however, it happened 1 or 2 times that Google play crashed. Same for others applications downloaded on the black market ( so I don't know if it s because applications on the black market are unstable or not...).

Furthermore, the used of the "Browser" makes my tablet freeze with Hard Reset needed (2 times and I only tried twice, chrome works well). I flashed both this kernel and the RilleyROM 1.3 for the first time today. Do you know where does these problems come from?

EDIT: Sorry for this big pic, I don't know how to reduce it...

giouncino, that's what I'm about to do. Reduce voltages and see.
Actually I was playing with it because some people asked to downclock kernel to 1416 max as their Pipo's were unstable even with 1608 MHz.
And flashed my M7 just for curiousity. I do not care really about synthetic tests at all. Even if they crashed. But I do care about stability in applications and battery life. Both of them were very satisfactory for me with stock kernel. However, if there is possibility to improve it worth a try, isn't?

BTW, have noticed that CPU is working on 312, 816, 1416 and 1704 (or 1608 on stock kernel) MHz. Not sure if other frequencies really needed.

PS: AnTuTu scores are 21050 in performance mode, yesterday was probably something else in background restricting higher results

PPS: Vellamo benchmark passed with no problem and with results 1198 HTML5 and 542 Metal. However I'm restricted now with access to some web pages (company proxy) so test might be not full and I have nothing to compare. Does anyone know results for Google Nexus 10 and Galaxy Note 2?

hello can you help me patch rk3066 pipo m8 wifi kernel ?
i've tried replacing max freq from 1608 to 1704 but doesnt reach that speed even though cputuner recognize that speed, still max is 1608.
                                thanks

                                kernel pipo m8 wifi rk3066
