I haven't actually tested this yet.

        update:

now cpucpy shows deep sleep state as soon as pipo is not connected to pc anymore.
now it is charging, but i couldn't see less power consumption in sleep state

        i'll check it until tomorrow

@kruzifix: use the tool ds battery saver, there you can set a delay for deep sleep after display-out

I've added the new file to my kitchen. The next RileyROM's will include the change.

          Thanks!!!!!

Anyone who's used this, when does the modem cut out - when deep sleep occurs or when the screen turns off? Does manually delaying deep sleep delay the modem turning off?

              A Tale of Two Tablets

How could two M6 Pro tablets behave so differently???

              Tablet #1 - Pipo M6 Pro, wifi, 16GB
              Flashed with RileyRom 1.4
              kernel_cpu1704h_gpu600_ddr720 - based on 1.4 - higher RAM 1225mV kernal works a treat!
Thank you to Randy, giouncino and heisenberg for turning a good tablet into a great tablet.

              Tablet #2 - Pipo M6 Pro, wifi, 32GB
              Flashed with RileyRom 1.4
              kernel_cpu1704h_gpu600_ddr720 - based on 1.4 - higher RAM 1225mV
              doesn't boot.
              kernel_cpu1704h_gpu600_ddr720_target_V2.1
              doesn't boot.
kernel_cpu1704h_1325mV_gpu600h STOCK_ddr720_Claro_test1 does boot but locks up at 21% during Antutu (Testing CPU Float performance)
kernel_cpu1704h_gpu600_ddr720does boot and again locks up at 21% in Antutu.
Stock kernel boots and appears stable but sometimes switches itself on when in standby. The same thing happened with Tablet #1 running kernel_cpu1704h_gpu600_ddr720 and was fixed by upping the RAM voltage.

So could this be the "unluckiest" M6 Pro tablet of them all??

Could one of you kernel wizards (I'm looking at you giouncino and heisenberg!!!) create a kernel for me that is based on Claro_test1 but with slightly higher voltages???

I've not tried it yet but all who did confirmed working, just takes a bit longer to start 3G
                modem.

Hey how can I install that fix zip file ? I tried from recovery mode and that aborted.

                thanks

You have to ectract the zip in the rilyrom folder, rename kernel.img in the rileyrom folder to kernel.imk, rename the new kernel to kernel.img start flashtool, connect usb, reboot to bootloader, uncheck in flashtool everything but kernel, press flash.

Actually you need to extract the file in the zip, and place it in the /sys/lib folder of your tablet using a root explorer. Make a backup of the file you're replacing if you wish.

Any volunteers?? I'd really like to get this 32GB tablet stable.

Just dowload the script, change it like you wish and bake your very own kernel ;-)

I'm just a bit reluctant to tamper with things I don't fully understand, such as frequencies and voltages.

I see. I'd do it, of you upload your kernel.img.

So, after leaving tablet alone over night and the whole day cpuspy showed me a time of deepsleep around 17 hours but still i had a batterydrain of 15% in that time unfortunately... has anyone another idea related to this problem?

1% per hour is normal for deep sleep, isn't it?
