You cannot use my modified kernel for your M8HD.
But you can use the same script I prepared and posted to modify your kernel and make it working.
Battery savings depends on how good is your CPU, if you are luky you can save up to 100-125mV for each frequency of CPU and up to 100mV for RAM, and increase performances based on antutu score by 10-15% max.if you appreciate my efforts this is the link for any donation:

Enjoy!
Thx giouncino.
Althou I have the same problem as with JB.. it still freezes on 27% in antutu (even with claro).. but I have had it flashed with target 2.1 and everything worked fine in JB, all games run good, never any hangups or crashes, just with antutu. So I let it run with ur kernel.
So I use ur Claro and it works good. Big thx.

probably you need a little bit more voltage for 1.7Ghz...
1.35mV could be enough.
I'll prepare it for you soon.if you appreciate my efforts this is the link for any donation:

It seems that you still have trouble on maximum frequency for the CPU.
Last possibility is to use 1.375V on CPU...
Try this one: kernel_kitkat_cpu1704h_1375mV_gpu600h STOCK_ddr720_Kimmen.zip , if this is still not working, I suggest you to use a modified kernel with RAM but with CPU on stock 1.6Ghz (I can prepare it for you, in case), just to be sure to have a perfectly stable Tablet.if you appreciate my efforts this is the link for any donation:

Thanks again for the kernel giouncino

I used the kernel "very_low" but it can be used only on very lucky CPU because voltages are reduced a lot.
To have a consistent result with antutu: remove any external micro SD, switch wifi off and wait a couple of minutes after boot to finish all the startup processes.
In any case a difference of 200-300 points and even more is normal. You can see that may vary for any run of Antutu!if you appreciate my efforts this is the link for any donation:
