Well my first rom for a S905X4 device based on android 11.
Nothing from the STOCK rom was used, this is a clean build done from my own Amlogic Android 11 sdk.

Changelog v2.0:

• Added proper root.
• Added Mobile settings (like the phone's)
• Dual launcher (choose the one you want on 1º boot)
• Fixed choosing the default launcher. (use Mobile settings to do so)
• Added root on/off switch, it on by default! (restart required to take effect, after each change)
• Added overlay that shows cpu speed/temp etc.. also network speed etc..
• Added option to choose the default UI for each app ( see app info page, only on side settings )
• Added power button to the navigation bar.
• Added Switch OS (if no usb stick or SDcard is present with other OS. it will boot to recovery)
• Fixed sound overlay not working in "Normal" Ui.
• Added Regular Playstore.
• Added Recents Apps.
• Fixed Login in Regular Playstore with Normal UI.
• Fixed lots of permissions.
• Fixed SPDIF output (i think... i do not have a way of testing it)

I installed it IN MY A95x F4 BOX. Everything works except the light and the clock display. else you can add How to Force Close Apps how to close the applications that are running in the background apps

well normally android closes the background apps every 5 min or a certain memory threshold is reach.
So dont worry that much about it, i will try to add "recents"(ye is all is called that option) in a future build.

This rom is a hybrid, if you want the atv one there another topic with that one.
And will never be google certified, no custom rom will ever be certified by google!

Thank you for your work and for developing the firmware project.
I have a few ideas what is missing. (I tested on a95x f4)
1) Add Shutdown button in menu (if user dont have original Remote Control)
2) the screen on the front panel of the a95x f4 device does not work
3) SPDIF does not work (A95X f4) does not light up.
4) there is not enough file manager. It would be nice if there was X-plore File Manager 4.28.65+ right away
5) the panels on the top and bottom are not removed automatically when playing content
5b) need RAM used info and temp of CPU in top panel
6) I haven't tried Root rights yet, but if they are, I think I need a separate switch in the advanced menu to turn on at the right moment.
7) dont have Double tap "Home button" to open "scheduler of open apps"
~8) dont have minimalistic web browser like a soul browser premium


1) the Power OFF button does not work - a restart occurs. (maybe my console is to blame, now I need to replace the wifi / BT module on it) https://youtu.be/kwf0hWRJ36w
NO TRUE - this is bug wifi/BT module. I fix module, and shutdown work fine.

so, what brings to me the question, which one of ur rom are more stable, ATV or this hybrid version?

NO TRUE - this is bug wifi/BT module. I fix module, and shutdown work fine.

2: sorry cant help you there, i made this fw for the X4 and not the A95 F4
3: same as 2.
4: hmm i will add x-plore on the next build.
5: not happening, google removed that function from android 11>up if you want them gone is app related since some players can hide them or just disable them in the settings.
5b: ye i also wanted that, the issue is it takes long hours of coding(that i dont have) to add that support... there are some apps out there that can do that, but i will think about it.
6: not happening, i don't even like to root my fw's so its luckly i did it in this fw!
7: this sdk is ATV mainline and not AOSP, that feature is stripped from the sdk, now that is done by the launcher... some support it others don't is a hit in miss!
8: i will see what browser i will include, it wont be google one but a smaller one.

Hi! I have an app, that using a uinput.ko module. I think it's missing here.

A logcat shows me:
4917 4917 D ARUnchainedInput: Opening input device...
4917 4917 D ARUnchainedsuInput: Step 1 failed
4917 4917 D ARUnchainedInput: Cannot open device - 'Generic'

and there must be a Generic.kl in some of those directories:

"/dev/uinput",
"/android/dev/uinput",
"/dev/input/uinput",
"/dev/misc/uinput"

But there is no those paths and Generic.kl is in /system/usr/keylayout folder

If you have a kernel source, could you compile it with "Input device support - Miscellaneous devices - User level driver support" module?

Flash with success
System Boots
Half Front Display
Limited Remote Control Functionx

No Ethernet/Lan 1000m
No Wifi
No Blutooth

if i ever get my hands on the module source i will add it.
And yes its an usb adapter, but that does not mean it will not work... the issue where might be the dtb that as the wrong pins for that device.

Ok, it doesn't make sense. On another firmware without uinput module there is no an error with the app. So the problem isn't in the kernel, but in the firmware.
