Molle: could you please provide a full cpu range build? I'm currently using the 1080p stock-based 512-1704cpu with 720ddr and 600gpu kernel and forcing the 1200 low limit only when needed, I.e. xbmc (with setcpu). When my minix is going to sleep (screen off) it has its wifi disabled and upper limits the cpu to 512. This way I have the good of both world - speed and efficience. Always wanted to try your kernel with a new governor, but hesticated because it was based on an old sources without the wifi patch minix applied later. Now, if I get it right, it's based on the updated kernel sources from minix, so all I miss now is the scaling to adopt it on my system. I could also patch it myself with the overclockomatic, but I don't know if this could work with non-orig. kernel...

EDIT: I'm not sure that I've got the whole story right anymore
Seems like I missed the rather old date in the filename of the de-underclocked firmware.
Is the new build based on an updated Minix sources or the prev. one without latest patches applied?

    Thanks!

Certainly, but after the holidays. I'll be away from my development workstation until the end of next week.

(In the mean time how about setting up a kernel building environment yourself?)

        Thanks.
About the building environment - could try it during the holidays, do you have a repository with sources for your kernel?

BTW: After all - are they based on the latest minix ones with wifi fix applied or the prev one?

OK, got it up & running, thanks.

One thing is still mystery for me: there weretalks on this forum about "new kernel sources", so somehow I came to conclusion that minix released a new sources. Now, while playing with setting up the env. and building kernel, I noticed that at least phjanderson's repository has the prev. one... Do I miss something and just dreamed about the new ones?

              kernel for fast Ethernet

Very strange. One would assume that the stock kernel had been compiled from the same sources Peter made available.
Hi everybody. I'm using 1080/1800/600/720 kernel from Finless set of 1.7 Rom since the release of it. Very stable and smooth. The only problem is Ethernet speed which is only 35-40 Mbit/sec on 100 Mbit line. Could anybody recommend any other kernel to increase the Ethernet speed? Thanks.

My X7 has rooted stock ROM 009 from 01/24/2014. Can I use Molle's kernels from the first thread with this firmware?

Yes, you can use them with any JB-based ROM (stock or custom).
