HDMI on TV and sound ok in sound device.
    Works fine!

So I can make like the [convict] instruct about the CS968-Geass.
      Thank you again.

Thanks a lot! I'm almost convinced to order this device but there's one more thing that worries me: the speed of ethernet port. Did you test local transfers from SMB shares? I'd be happy with 3MB/s which should guarantee always smooth 720p playback, but have bad experience with other Android stick and USB-RJ45 adapter...

            I use Ethernet connexion:
            PC to External_SD (16G Class 4): Speed 4,83MB/s
PC to SDCard internal of the CS968: Speed 6.66MB/s.
720p, smooth playback, in the CS968.
            Hope this helps.

              @tvdriod/webpisum

i guess u can flash with rktools only, not via CWM, since its has just *.img file, there is no cwm script to write in cwm mode.
BTW ur sound is via AMP or directly frm TV speakers ?.
I hv this problem, hv my cable STB and Cs968, connected via sound bar, when i use STB, stb sound is cut-off from soundbar if i switch off cs968. I hv to keep cs968 on to get stb sound via sound-bar if am watching cable stb .

I believe that the sound input device (in sound settings of cs968) is causing the issue, if i can disable the sound input radio button, then guess it shd fix the issue. from the GUI i cannot disable sound input device, tried to check in xml file, but did not get any info abt sound input device.

As I am still a beginner I'm learning by doing.
In fact, flash needs to be accomplished only through rktools. Not CWM.
For example, the stock firmware, or custom, replaced the CWM I had installed.
After I returned the CWM (Topic - cwm recovery for rk3188 - teacher leolas).
                Tks hanu_blr.

Not work for me (CS968). Sometimes the screen blinked. I returned the previous firmware, but before I had to put the firmware CS968-Geass-V1, because I don't could run BusyBox.

                          My CS968 is this here.

cfwtool.exe don't run. Windows 8 show this message: cfwtool.exe stopped working. With this, I can not pre-root and I can not install BusyBox to return the CWM recovery.

Thanks, that's indeed enough for smooth playback.

                              Note: Option 1: unpack - Option 3 - RK3188 - just only? Generate: miskercfw.img. I have not used option 2.pack everything and 3.pre-root.

For this Problem try 4x Erase NAND with "ROM_Flash_Tool_137" and than flash again this ROM.
