Mask ROM mode MK802IV (need help)

Might sound silly, but if your device is stuck in "mask rom mode" instead of holding down the reset button when connecting your device to the computer, just plug the stick in without holding the reset button.

Yes I tried.
After idb reset I get Flash info fail.
Still get error [ATTACH=CONFIG]4094[/ATTACH]
If I try again I get a download error.

Plug it to different USB port and try again.
I had similar problem and it solved when I used ports on back of PC (e.g directly connected to MB).
Also make sure you click restore, not upgrade!

Return for warrenty

I tried every thing.
My device was booting directly into maskrom mode without pressing the reset buton.
Tried other cables other pc other usb ports, other hdmi port.
Tried shorting port 8 and 9.
Nothing worked.

I have send back the item to geekbuying and now im getting a new one.
