You have to know that if you enable quick boot, as soon as you "switch off" the tablet, in REALITY the tablet DOESN'T GO OFF: IT IS HYBERNATED or something similar AND if deep sleep doesn't work, it remains ANGAIN stuck on 312Mhz and there is a great battery drain.

I do not suggest to use quick boot even with deep sleep working, because when you switch the tablet on the battery drains faster (I'm not sure of this).
I used quick boot when deep sleep didn't worked and overnight I losed 10% of battery

Ok now that makes sense, thats what I couldn't figure out whats the point. But if its slowing down the tablet upon resuming and draining battery then I can see the need for deep sleep.

The source rom is EXACTLY the same as the one dated November 25th. If Randy changes something...that is the news! Oterwise 1.4.2 and 1.5 will be the same.

Randy, I suggest you to leave the file explorer ("explorer" app) on your custom roms, because I need to go on my folders in SD card as soon as I install a fresh rom!

So, you're saying this isn't an updated firmware? I didn't have any plans to change anything past what I did for 1.4.2....so I'll just wait on the next firmware, unless you find anything different in this one that's worth messing with.

i use swiftkey keyboard, and when it's docked the soft buttons are covering part of the keyboard interface. i didn't have this problem in the previous version. any fix?

Here is a solution implemented on the M9 Pro:

With this modification you will delete completly the multi-window but no more hiddable bar...
Look at your build.prop the line "ro.rk.systembar.tabletUI" and change the value to true. Save and reboot. You can try. If you want revert, change the value to false. Save and reboot

You can use the following lines in build.prop
* for split top-notification bar: set ro.rk.systembar.tabletUI=false
* for bottom-notification bar: set ro.rk.systembar.tabletUI=true
* reboot after changing the value.

With the value "true" you will have only the bottom-notification bar (like 4.0 and 4.1 - no top notification bar) and no more hiddable bar .

See if that helps.

Alternatively you can just reposition the SwiftKey keyboard slightly higher up so that it is not obscured by the soft buttons.

Try to install the beta Version (have a look on there homepage). I also use swiftkey and have no problems.

If so, what do i need to make it work?
