Did you use an undervolted RAM ?
Because on the thread patched kernel, they say that can be a problem

Personaly, I use the following, because for me DDR 720 is not stable (RAM stock voltage, USB OTG : OK)

To get no error, I must reboot twice after flashing !

as to get 1704 I undervolt to 1.275V, stock is 1300 !

Don't be so optimistic...
my tablet is currently working with these parameters:

MHz	mV
312	800
504	825
816	900
1008	950
1200	1050
1416	1150
1704	1275

But at 1.8Ghz @ 1.375V antutu crashes every time...

I don't have problem with usb stick with very low voltages for CPU and RAM.
Some of my friends have problems with 3G sensitivity with my kernels and very low voltages.

But with the last 3 or 4 firmware I'm no more able to power-up my USB HDD...
This doesn't seem related to low voltages (even with stock kernels I can't use external HDD).

I don't know if some internal component of my tablet is having some problems, but I don't care much of the HDD, it is a lot more important to have the USB stick working!

So I've settled on stock CPU/GPU with RAM 720 MHz @ stock voltage.

AnTuTu score is 19882

I experimented with a kernel using RAM clocked @ 800MHZ (+50 mV) and got AnTuTu score of 20580
