I just received this TV01 from Geekbuying, same as CS968 from what I have read. Anyway, with the device straight from the box, it kept rebooting. Also, the email app did not work, and I like it for checking my email. So, I thought I would give this rom a test to see if it is any better. One of the problems that I encountered, is the 2 megapixel camera does not work. When I click on the camera icon, it closes immediately, on the original rom it did work. My question, do you know which other rom the camera will work on? Also, I got surround sound to work on the original rom using the stock player playing a mkv video from my Synology NAS, but in the sound device manager settings, the sound would not keep the pass through settings. I have to go into settings to set it to passthrough each time I want to play a movie.

Thanks for getting back in contact with me, the very same thing happen to me with another CS968 ROM build ... Another thing, for some odd reason, I don't believe these CS986 are made by the same manufacturer ... My belief is some CS968 boxes act with different behavior with certain ROM builds ... Now concerning the camera, I know about that one, it's not working with the on board camera app ... I use a Logitech c920 with my CS968 via the app "Dashcam", free at the Google Play Store ... I use this app as a security camera via a connection to a Slingbox .... I cannot use the "Dashcam" app for Skype or Hangouts ... I have ordered another camera, should be in tomorrow, the Logitech c310 to see if it will work with this ROM build on the CS968 ... Concerning the digital audio, make sure the correct audio settings are correctly in place for your AV receiver ...

I also just got a T01 from geekbuy last night. I have to say so far everything is working. The rom is 20131126.115048 and it already pre-rooted which is freaking great. There is one thing i notice is the power bottom on the remote don't seen to turn on the unit. But funny thing is when I turn on my TV it it automatic turn on the unit too so i guess I can live with that.

Tested:
- Cam: Tested via Skype - Work quality not so great but its a 2M cam so can't ask to much. But video show up some what too red. Maybe lighting i don't know.

- 1080P: Tested via mx player - 1080P work out the box. Played 3gb+ MP4 and mkv file with no issue via LAN from NAS.

- Wireless: Work but to bad not 5G. The best I got was 70mb/s which should be the max because the unit is right next to the router.

- Mic: Work

Test Spec:
TV: Sharp 46 LCD 1080P HDTV
Remotes: Factory and Mele F10 Pro
Router: Asus RT-N66U
NAS: Synology DJ212

P.S Btw the factory remote is unless you have to pretty much pointing at the unit directly to be able to use it.

Even though this is a 1080p ROM build, the "Libmedia.so Hack" by Stafstorm of the Neo X7 Forum has been installed/Built IN, this ROM, just thought I would let you guys and girls know, enjoy ...

Hi Tech1, Is libmedia hack as notifed here succesfully tested with xbmc. This is the rom I am using and cant get the xbmc to produce 5.1 on optical.

You should be able to produce 5.1 AC3 digital audio ...! I'm right now in the process of uploading a CR11S/CS968 NEW ROM Build 1080p 2MP stock ROM dated 20131205 built IN libmedia.so hack ....

Hi tech1. Have you posted this new ROM yet?

Currently I have the cloudnetgo ROM flashed on my box, but i can't get wifi direct to work. I can establish the wifi direct connection, and I can send files from the box, but not receive files. Also can't get screen mirroring/Miracast to work as this also uses wifi direct.

I would appreciate if you could test these features on your ROM.

wifi direct is about connecting two or more devices over wifi WITHOUT having to go through a router. This is useful for me because I am always on the go with my box in hotels etc, so I would like to be able for example to stream directly from my tablet to my box without having a router available.

This feature seems to be generally buggy in Android, I need to update my phone and tablet to later android versions to see if this has improved.

Awesome... Thanks! I flashed it yesterday and it definitely improved. Video streaming still sucks though even with XBMC. The NHL app works but very quickly goes grainy then stops completely. Seems the box can't keep up with speed or quality of the stream. Anyone else having streaming problems?

Also still randomly reboots. I did have an external "powered" 3.5" HD attached and have since attached it to my router instead. I think the so called 3A power supply is pushing a lot less... Any idea where to get a replacement? I'm in Victoria, BC and I think the only source here is "thesource" (old radioshack) but matching the barrel connector might be a little tricky. Too bad they didn't go with some kind of USB connection since its also 5V and you can get various amp PS's. Is it possible the power supply is causing the slow streaming?

Last thing, anyone know how to map a NAS drive in Android? I can access it through Esfile explorer but I like to use Bittorrent and it won't allow me to use it as a download location.

It no longer reboot frequently or at least it hasn't in the last 24 hours. Although NHL LIVE is still doing the same low quality stream and freezing. XBMC has better streaming but doesn't playback anywhere near MX Player unfortunately but the streams look a lot better and seem to connect quicker.

Maybe completely unrelated but I was having trouble with Chrome browser on the last few roms with it rebooting the system. Now it doesn't reboot but noticed a Wimp.com video always plays at half speed like a broken record. This is the link: http://www.wimp.com/trainsdog/ It plays completely normal on all my other devices but not CS968. Weird cause other wimp video play fine on CS968. Is there a different format being used here?

Also, when I use Bittorent it starts downloading but after a few minutes it says the location is "read only". Maybe something with Bittorent, is anyone else successfully using pirat**** browser with Bittorent?
