Just let me know, I will post the workaround
I have something similar to that on my M7 Pro but without the yellowing around the ring. Could you post the fix for me? Thanx! Daz.

AW: defective screen
hey everyone,
i just had - as far as i can tell - this problem with my tab (black circle in middle of display) and short of returning it my vendor gave me the clue that saved me the trouble..
so here's what i got: the problem seems to occur when the tab is exposed to a sudden change in temperature - at least that was true for me
simple solution: get the tab working real hard, the tip i got was to let a video play in endless loop until the mark is gone (i used mxplayer), they said it could take some time, after some hours i helped the process along by placing the display in close proximity & facing the radiator.. and it really worked
.. so the magic ingredient was: heat
hope that helps, evenif the thread is somewhat old..
regards

Yeah, I have that same problem with my Pipo M5.
When I got it, it had a black bubble looking mark on the screen. It went away after several minutes of being on.
Now, I notice the spot returns if I don't turn the tablet on for a while...but it always goes away after several minutes of use. I think it is a weak seal in the glue or something.Randy
