I have recently purchased sumvision 297 from ebuyer. I believe this tablet is the same as pipo m6. first impressions are very good but when compared with another smaller dual core tablet, it seems as not as fast, browsing and general use is slower but the screen is great. I tried Catapult king last night and although it loaded up fine, the game does not recognize the screen touches so i could not play it, standard resolution is the same.

I would like to know of its worth me flashing the riley rom, would it make a huge difference or stick with stock version so i get OTA future updates.

if you are rooted you could try xposed installer and use the app setting module to change the dpi off the game

you could also try and use the pipo m6 pro riley rom i can confirm the rom works but flash at your own risk it will void your warranty

sumvision updates are very rare

thanks for your reply. I am not rooted yet but was thinking of doing it. do you know if this game work on the riley rom, could you please test for me?

Pipo M6 Pro RileyROM 1.7 KitKat but you may be better off using rileyrom 1.6 the gps is not working in 1.7

It works on my sumvision 2 9.7

have you tried run the the app in normal mode are tablet has hd mode and normal mode

settings>display>display mode

I would not flash pipo m6 firmware unless you know what you are doing

yes i have tried it on both modes.what version of rom are you running and do you find it better than stock?

I found riley 1.6 better than stock but if do flash it read all the instructions and if you want to go back to stock you can ask sumvision for the original firmware from sumvision support

I have same tablet but before I flashed rileyrom (which work fine btw) I rooted and installed clockworkmod and backed up original sumvision setup. Then stored this away from the tablet for safe keeping just in case.
So far running rileyrom 1.60 and all is good will probably make the jump to kit kat v1.70 when I've got time.

if you do be careful clockworkmod not working 100% with kitkat 1.7 yet
