1 download an app back up progam like https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...umBackup&hl=en or https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...contacts&hl=en making sure you but your back up on to external sd

2 download riley rom 1.6 from http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...o-RileyROM-1-6 and follow instructions in zip file

3 restore back ups

4 if you dont like it go back to sumvision firmware http://www.mediafire.com/download/rs...%202%209.7.rar using the instructions in zip file but if you do like it try 1.7 http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...367#post128367

thanks but these only backup data and apps, i was looking to backup my stock fw first, then do the rest. i will though download the stock fw just so i have if i ever need it for future.

He has given you a link to the original sumvision firmware. ie as it as when it came out of box so you can go back

i have connected the tablet to the pc but it' not recognizing it, i did try the rockchip driver but i think that failed to install driver, now when i try to install it the rockchip driver again its saying no found driver inf? how do i install the drivers?

its come saying it's installed but when i launch batchtool , it's saying no found , also device is not showing in device manager?

update. i can see rockchip usb device now showing in m device manged un disk drives, does this it has found the driver?
its still not showing up under flashtool?

update: its now found the rkandriod but when when i hit reboot2flash its saying:
devise can not do switch because of no drive?

Make sure USB Debugging is unchecked in developer settings.

I've noticed this is turned on by default in these KitKat ROM's.

i still can't get it to reboot2flash, any ideas people?
it found the driver when i connect the usb to the back of the pc as oppose to the front.
it now comes up with Found RKAndroid Mass Storage Usb but just can't it to flash2flash, just keeps on saying: devise can not do switch because of no drive?

it shows 2 usbrockchip controller under drives, could it be that it's not has not installed the driver properly, should it be showing as other devices and not under drives?

funny thing i when i used the rkbatch tool it then show a different device in device manager, when i hit swith the tablet turns off??

not sure what to do anyone care to help please!

Thats right tablet will turn itself off to go in to download mode/flash mode just keep following instructions

if you want root look at post 50 and if you want stock fw see post 61 unless you have different fw to every one els

You are almost there...don't worry. There is a bug in the flash tool that prevents rebooting to flash using the button.

All you need to do is run the RKBatchTool...provided in the ROM kit. Click the "switch" button. The screen will go dark on the tablet and the Finless flash tool will recognize your tablet in "loader mode". Now you can erase idb and flash the ROM.
