    Hi Pajopasa,
With Superceleron firmware he provides on #1 post, you cannot flash the Km8 pro using an sd card. You will need
    1- a pc with Windows
2- the flash tool application installed on the pc
    3- a usb cable male/male
4- and your lovely little box

Edit: I forgot to add a toothpick!

      Hi,

I've installed the latest RC3 firmware but on SPMC I can only get Dolby Digital passthrough.
For DTS movies I only get PCM stereo.

      Can anyone help?

      Thanks in advance

          - you open the amlogic flash tool application on your pc (if you are not fluent in chinese, you can choose English lenguage) and select the firmware img you have downloaded
          - while pushing the tip of a paperclip (or toothpick) in the reset hole, you connect the box to your pc with the usb cable
          - the flash tool will recognize your box (you can now withdraw the paperclip)
          - click "start": the new image will be copied.
          That's it

I am not sure this is clear enough. If not, you will find better explanations on freaktab forum
          Thanks, work for me.

I'm willing to try this firmware as it seems very recommended.

My question is how to get back to stock firmware, if needed, as I have a zip of the stock but it seems to be a OTA and not a full stock firmware.
Is it possible to go back to stock? Or once we flash superceleron firmware there is no going back?

Thanks a lot for the help.
You can flash this recovery (work on mi KM8 PRO too)

            http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...790#post600790

You can create a backup and restore if necessary

superceleron happy new year and great job on helping everyone out with these roms!

I wanted to ask if same box with 32gb of rom is ok with this firmware?

Also what is your opinion of which is the best hardware for these cheap s912 boxes?
would you recommend any other budget boxes (perhaps not s912) you think are good?

                Hi,
i cant vouch that this one works on the 32gb one so... dunno m8

The best Hw, that one is hard... for me they are all the same but if you are getting another one get one already with the ddr4 mem and a external antena!
Brands i cant tell you, since it goes against my own rules!

                  Hi, my 1st post here.

My question is if we can install another kodi in coexistence with ftmc. I tried to download kodi fron the store but it fails.

Ftmc works well but i liked the skin of preinstalled kodi 17.

                  thanks

Nop, only FTMC and SPMC... or SPMC and Kodi 17
And kodi 17 works bad on this chips!

I use Ethernet and it works, but I can't see ethernet in the setting menu, so I dont't know how to assign a static ip to the box (the remote app can't discover the box and I have to digit every time the IP address).

It's normal that I dont' have ethernet settings? Is there any app that can help me?

it should be in the AM settings and not on the "default" android settings!
I dont have this box anymore so i cant help you!
