Thanks, this one works really good, it's been 9 months since I've been trying to find a fix for the audio/video stuttering on the official ROM but this solves it all

Flashed with Android Tool to my V88 SV6051 and as soon as you get to 100% and it does check firmware you immediately get Download Firmware Fail. I also dumped it with RK Tools and removed some bloat and recompiled and it also failed flash again.

As soon as I unplug the box from USB it's hard bricked. Have to short pin to get it back up and it works fine with other roms.

Downloaded the file from Mega twice.

Not sure if it's fully compatible. I flash different roms to this V88 all the time.

Is Android Tool different to Rockchip Batch Tool?

Yes, more commonly used, better tool with more functions :
For some reasons, Rockchip is extremely fond of Windows based firmware tools, and instead of providing a simple SD card method, they've continued to use

            Also better error checking.

Seems other people on the thread had their box bricked by that A95X R1 ROM as well. Upon flashing a proper ROM the status line in Android Tool showed a low level format. So it's got something up with the partition info or formatting.

^^For everyone - Good one stop place to get a lot of Rockchip tools. Driver Assistant, Factory Tool, Android Tool 2.39, etc.

For anyone that doesnt have it, best tool to extract and pack your rom, system.img, or boot.img:

                      Hi!
I'm too newbie about firmware flashing and I bought one of this Scishion V88 4K from GearBest (https://www.gearbest.com/tv-box-mini-pc/pp_401685.html) and it is bothering me its Netflix audio/video sync problems. It seems that other firmware solve this.

As you've been testing a lot of firmware, which one do you suggest?
Can you give me a step-by-step instructions about safely updating it (backing up the original firmware)?

                      Thank you!

Resolution is the same 720p upscaled to 1080 but that can be canged with nomone resolution changer just write 1920x1080 and 240ppi so that it fils the screen just checkit on youtube. As for overclocking , the only change is to set it to performance , the kernel does not have any scheduler. Maximum speed is 1430 mhz.
this is what i use now

Is this firmware flashing guide safe to follow to this device?

My V88 4K arrived with Android 5.1.1, is it different from those that arrives with Marshmallow?
                            Thanks!

This box is rubbish. Throw to the bin and with 25$ you can take a much better one
