Will there be root on 04?

When i change refresh rate from 100Hz to 50Hz in tv option i have headache or eyes tears coming due watching tv on my cable when i use tv longer time. Its like CRT monitor 100Hz or 85Hz give me better feeling in games than 60Hz also. But maby I'm thinking wrong and hdmi option is only for movie playback? I no need more than 60Hz or fps in move off course.

I'm asking again- Is It possible to make normal 720p kernel for other users like me using HD ready TV's?

I'm using the XBMC version that came with the rom and eveything works smooth! Finally without additional settings XBMC plays everything in 1080.

Only the Live-TV (which is running by using the MediaPortal PVR addon) the video is stuttering like crazy. Has someone tips to get this better?

What I've done is: setting HDMI on 24Hz, Sound set on Analoog or HDMI, no difference.

The MediaPortal backend has got the latest version (1.6) and is running on Windows8. I also got a Rpi and there the PVR addon works perfect (the same as all the other movie / tv-show material)

K I've been running this running rom since the other day and its great, sleek, fast.
But with that said I've had one issue with the minix for some reason it's coming out of sleep mode on it's own. It'll go into sleep mode all good, I'll checked on it n hr or so later n it'll still be in sleep, but if i check back like 5hrs later it'll already be out of sleep mode when i turn on the TV.
So this has been going since i installed it about week ago, I've been trying to trouble shoot it best i can. I uninstalled any of my apps that i thought might be bringing it out of sleep, no luck there. I also went ahead n re-flashed the rom to make sure it wasn't something on that end no dice there. Nothing has been installed or uninstalled from what hardwareguru's rom installs except i did install Beyond XBMC, also very little changes in the settings.
Any suggestions? n has any one else had this issue come up?

Cover the IR sencor, see if that helps.

Guys is there a way to get the Volume bottons on my Measy RC11 Air Mouse to work with this rom . Thanks

This rom boots in 720p and the layout is 240DPI ( set to show like 720 screen ) so i dont see what the isue is.
It works just fine on a HD ready TV

Lower performance 1080p than 720p kernel.

Hey thanks for that, I eventually got it flashed. Strange thing was happening because it kept failing to flash and in the end i had to hold the power button on for the entire operation to get it to flash but it worked.

Thanks for posting this tip, had to do the same on mine to flash, coming from Waser kit kat rom. I can confirm you only have to do this once; second time I reflashed this rom I didn't have to hold the power down during flash duration.

Rooted and installed cwm perfectly following:

Update: recovery on restores gives md5 mismatch error.

Anyone know how to install the recovery.IMG from Bob fin ROM? Its 13k in size roughly and differnt in partition size from the recovery provided in the root link guide I posted above, simple flashing doesn't work

u can download tvlauncher from here http://apkfreak.com/apps/ or get it on aptoide, there's one on google play too but its a different version, in my oppinion the one on play is worst. It runs good on android tv sticks. make sure u have a mouse to customize its layout.

I just try it. every was ok but i have the same problem with xbmc "Passthrough output device - Error - No device found"
I DONT what happened with my device or with the firmware.

Everything is ok now. I install justXBMC.apk and works PERFECT. very smooth without problems.

I don't care for launchers, they are extra processes running on your system. I have noticed that the A2 mouse is kind of glitchy on this rom. It can be a little annoying at times. Or is it just that the A2 MOUSE is a expensive Glitch?!

Very satisfied with ROM 03....But I have heard that ROM 04 is now in the cooking.....I still hope that it does not root the minix x7....
