Hi ArneAnd! I have the same dongle with MTK chips, installed the 20140419 version but unfortunately the wifi and bluetooth both are not working. Please did you take any extra steps to make the wifi and bluetooh work? Thanks

I think this is the same TV stick i have.

Did you manage to fix slight video stuttering in XBMC? I'm having problems with the Stock ROM on XBMC since all videos have a slight stutter or frame drop.

I have tried all the roms suggested in this thread and have had no luck so far: except smaller files (<700mb) no video plays without noticeable lagging. Yesterday I tried another rom from the thread CS968 MTK LIVE TV {NEW 20140504 T018 Custom 4.4KK ROM Available} but video playing is still bad.

Did anybody get acceptable video performances from this stick?

            edit:
the issue appears to be limited to (beyond)xbmc, as in DeusMaior's case. The question still stands.

Thanks to everyone who participated in solving this annoying issue. The firmware is NOT native 1080P, but everything works (Wifi/Bluetooth) and is rooted.

Perhaps Neomode can extract the kernel and make a custom firmware for us with MKT-Wifi. For now, just enjoy your working device.

                Best regards,

I have the same version of MK809iii. This image indeed works on the device. However, when I try to boot to lubuntu based on http://www.gizfun.com/content/instal...ksmk908mk802iv. The recovery doesn't work. Anyone have the same experience and solutions?

Will this work in a MK809 III with mediatek mt5931sa and mt6622n?
                  I have some pics here.

I just want to solve the choppy video playback in XBMC.

                  Thanks.

                    RK3188 not RK3188T

                    Hello ,

Did anyone tried these roms on MK809 III with RK3188 (without T) and CDT-K25931 ?
Sales specification information say RK3188 not 3188T

In the meantime I got another MK809III with AP6210 wifi-chip, but now I have a MK809III brick with no WiFi because of the Mediatek wifi-chip (I didn't back up the stock rom), and the supplier from China offers no support.

Very late reply. I think you can find the original ROm here http://androidstick.nl/android-stick-firmware/

                        Hello.

I've got a MK809III from china (clone?), that have RK3188-T and MTK 5931SA/6622n wifi/bt Chipsets, this ROM works on that?

I will try using RK Flash Tool 2.1 to dump my backup, after that i will flash this rom with Rockchip_Batch_Tool_v1.7.
What drivers i need? only the rk ou i need the adb? Need the stick be on debug mode?

Sorry for that but i very newbie android...

                        Thanks

                              Hello everyone,

I have the same problem as anomus.
After flashing a new Rom my tv stays black and there is no signal.
I have already tried to use another power adapter, but it didn't help.
Flashing a new Rom is always succesful but there is allways the problem with the black screen.

Maybe someone of you has an idea how to fix the problem.

                              Thanks in advance!

I have the MK809III with RK3188-T and MT6622N and I flashed the wrong rom and bricked it. I can get it into Masked mode by shorting pins 7/8 on the nand chip but whenever I try to flash an img with RK Batch Tools or erasing the nand with RKDevelopTool v.1.7 I get a faliure on copy boot loader. If I had the correct boot loader, might I solve this? of is it just a fried Nand chip? Does anyone have the loader.bin file for this unit? I'm close to chucking it but want to make sure I've tried everything.

                                Thanks
