I have ran my test "Beyond XBMC" Works On My Android TV boxes without any issues ... Where is your 1080p media stored ...? Also what type of broadband connection and home network connection wifi/wired are you using ...?

All my tests are done using USB HDD. Not the internet.

Are you saying there is stock firmware that is compatible with either wifi chipset? If so that would be great, the people with the mtk chip could enjoy some of Tech1's future (hint) roms.

I tried Tech1 1080P rom, but seemed to be a little slower than the 720p, so I went back to the original Jan. 11, 2014 rom. So far, I have been able to get live TV running flawlessly inside XBMC. Here is my setup...

Using an Android TV box - TV01 from Geekbuying, HDHomerun Plus dual tuner OTA (over the air) tuner with DVBlink server software running on my Synology NAS DS211j and the latest nightly build of XBMC. With this combination, I am getting 32 channels of FREE over the air TV reception, with 12 HD channels and a full guide with 12 days of listings. I get true surround sound from the HD channels. One step close to cutting the cord.

Here is a video of my live TV within XBMC. Please forgive the poor quality of the video. This displayed on my 65" 1080P 4 year old Olevia TV.

You should notice the video playback resolution is much better in the ultra version, see the comparison in post #'s 1 and 2 ...!

Tech1, the UPDATED CR11S-CS968 GT-Ixxx 2MP/5MP 1080p IMaxx Multi-Media Super ROM you also converted to 1080 with 4k resolution playback same as the Ultra rom, but you did something more to the Ultra rom that achieved a higher resolution? please explain! I don't understand what's different since both roms are converted to 1080 for higher resolution. Thanks

Yes, I did do something different, you are correct, but this one is a trade secret ...! You can have two TVs with 1080p and one will be sharper, clearer than the other one, ask my friend Mr. Sammy ...!(lol)

Thank you buddy, yes keep your trade secret safe, I just want to verify, I will flash it and report back. The super rom 4k is working very well with beyond xbmc. Very excited to try this new ultra high-def!!

With the Ultral ROM build, also test casting videos, photos and music to yout Android TV box (hotack) and to "Beyond XBMC", it's works very well with ALLcast and (BubbleUPnP Transcoder Built In) apps ...
