PMP5580 rom porting to NX008HD8G_WM

Here's what I've had issues with so far (cm10.1):

Front camera doesn't work properly
Doesn't charge when device is on
No USB drivers in debug mode (no adb access)

Other than that it actually seems to run better than when it had stock 4.1.1

Installed cm11, just figured I'd see how it runs.

So, after installing cm11 it seemed I was facing the same charging issue but after disabling wifi during sleep (I wish it was disabled by default) it seems to be charging fine now. The only major issue I've had so far is netflix not working, other than that (& the known screen artifact issue) it seems to be stable.

Now using AOKP 4.3, still can't use netflix but no other issues noticed so far.

It should be noted that the ROMs in questions were originally created for the Ainol Elf2 and then ported to the the PMP5580c.

The PMP5580c is nearly (if not entirely) identical to the Next8HD8G-NXM8000ND_WM.

Here are my own results in my first round of testing his ports on my own NXM8000ND_WM.

CM10.1
Bootlooped. I could net get it to fully boot....

CM10.2
Booted. Screen rotation is 90 degrees off. Cyanogenmod profile app force closes infinitely. It looked like WiFi along with bluetooth dongle support may have been working, although I did not attempt to test further.

CM11
Bootlopped. I could not get it to fully boot...

Here is some good news though, I learned how to COMPLETELY fix screen rotation in my own CM10 build. (Don't ask how, I have narrowed down the exact details yet, but it is working on my build.) I only need to test and fix WiFi, storage mounts, and new features on my build, then I should be able to release it and start porting it to other models and working on newer CM versions.

Thanks been of jerei for about a year Ben on my awe and my warp 4g messing around with lollipop I'm going to try to get lollipop on this device

Another issue I'm currently having with cm11 is headphones not working, they don't register when plugged in but they do when their unplugged. Any ideas on a fix for it? I've checked around & none of the suggestions I've come across seem to work.

Looks like mine finally bit the dust, just powered it up after about a month of sitting idle & it refuses to boot. I cleared the caches & it booted but it reset after the app optimization, now it just freezes before Android loads.
