    Pipo T9 MT6592

    Hi all

has anyone got any info on the new MT6592 processor tablets?

If the price stays low like the rockchip devices, do you think it will be prudent to wait for its release before upgrading my pipo m8 pro?

    Thanks

I wouldn't get caught up in any presell waits...we will just have to see how soon they actually come out.

I know absolutely nothing about making ROMs for them YET.

      Here is one article.

I find this very interesting, as Pipo looks to be following the size format ...8.9", as iFive has in thier X2.

I still have a Pipo M8 Pro in China being repaired, I have in the past touted the 9.4" as the perfect size. After using this LG Gpad ...which is an 8.3" ...I find it much easier to handle than the 9.4". The new 8.9" should be even better.

Way to go, Pipo. That is one great looking tab. If it measures up to the hype, it really should be something.

If anyone comes up with the firmware for this tablet, send me a link...it's not posted on Pipo's site, yet.

Well, my M8 Pro finally got back repaired from China. I have to say I had forgot how nice this size is, and now that I have loaded the latest KitKat Rileyrom ...really sweet. The 9.4" size is really suburb. The new crop of 8.9"ERS are nice, portable ...but I really like the additional screen size.

Yeah, I kinda miss the 9.4" format...the M8 Pro was the only one that I know of. Pipo must have gotten a really good deal on an off size display.

Everything new seems to be coming out with the smaller iPad Mini size screens. Too small for my aging eyes....hahaha!!!!!!

                    Look forward to your report.

I note iFive is also using this SOC on the upcoming Mini 3GS. Must be a bit of a delay in the 3288.

I have a T9 ROM ready to go...waiting on my friend Eric at Geekbuying.com to test it for me.

Meantime, I've ordered the iFive version, so I'll have a ROM for it as soon as I get the tablet (I'm going to have to dump this one, since iFive hasn't published firmware yet for it.)

BTW, Pipo's T9 firmware is JB...not KK. iFive's is KK.

                        Just ordered

                        I've just ordered a T9 from pipomall.
Any "first impression" available? I have to wait a couple of weeks before having mine.

                        Thank you

I haven't heard from anyone who actually has one.

                            First Review on Youtube now:
                            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WY1BL40WCE

                            Antutu around 26299

On another it says something like 276xx

Around the same speed as an Galaxy S4.

It´s not that impressive for an octacore or am I wrong?
