However, I am not able to let XP detect the system after plugin the USB OTG.

Which USB should I connect to?

    Thanks
    Follow these instructions exactly.

    Plug power cable in.
Connect USB from OTG to computer.
Use paperclip to depress bootloader button inside the 3.5mm headphone jack and keep it held down. Press and hold power button until bootloader detected.

You must disconnect USB cable and reconnect each time you attempt to go into the bootloader. Or use reboot app to go into bootloader.

Have you checked the device manager to see if it's detecting the device but no drivers installed?

That brings up a good point. Use the included USB cable. I have had some cables that work great for everything except rockchip flashing.

currently using this rom on my mk908ii with D33's 720 kernel, works great but having problems with cifs manager which i use to mount my video folders for xbmc. Cifs says mount successfull but when you go to the mount its empty, going back to cifs shows the folder no longer mounted(no green light) and any attempt to remount results in device or resource busy.

running this rom on my t428 with kernel_AP6330_HD_v207.img but dont get internal_sd (nand) mounted! any hints on whats going wrong? thx i.a.

edit: will try wipe from recovery again...
edit2: working now, but recovery didnt stay on first boot! just appeared for some seconds and continued with boot process. had to enter recovery manually and then wipe.

On the T428 unlike the A928, TWRP should not stay on first boot and it should format NAND (internal SD).
I modified TWRP with a script to do that. Only the A928 has a NAND erase problem with the flash tool not the T428. So it should have worked on your T428
But I have not tried this ROM on the T428 yet so maybe there is a problem there.

If you do get this and no internal sdcard is present, then just use the reboot APP and boot into recovery. Go into the wipe menu and select advanced wipe. Then just click the sdcard only and wipe it. Now it should be formatted so when you boot again it will be there.

Exactly what i did and now it's working like charme! Seems the script may be a bit buggy on first start of t428.

Finally, XP detected the device -- I need to hold down the power longer.

Now, Flash Tool show "Found one LOADER device" instead of "Found one MSC device". Click image for larger version

Did my instructions not say all that? Or was it wrong in some area?

                              Bob,

I copied these from your README FIRST.TXT(Thanks!!).

I just removed the description on your firmware's functionality, etc, so this is simpler for dummy like me to fellow on flashing the ROM.

You have done a great work. Thanks again!

It'd be nice if you said Bob's summary instead of "my" summary perhaps then.
