Download this official firmware from Bluetimes BT919 (it also works on other J22 or cx 919ii devices) and read the RK upgrade instruction.pdf. Good luck.

I already tried that but whenever I try to restore it fails and then gets stuck in waiting for loader start.
      Am I stuck with KK?

      Thanks!

No u arent. Let me do a downgrade on my BT 919. I wanna see if i get the same error as u.

After 1st flash i had an error

It failed yeah but the good thing was, the stick was in maskmode = blue light. I flashed the same firmware again and voila the stick is running back on JB.

          Small guide

          1. open RKBatchTool.exe
          2. change language to english
          3. press ... to set the firmware (which u want to flash) into the "FW Path:"
          4. hit restore and wait

If u get the same error as me above flash again and ur done. GL

          Or

          1. Open Androidtool 2.1
          2. Go to "Upgrade Firmware"
          3. Click on "Firmware"
          4. Pick the firmware which u want to flash
          5. Click "EraseFlash" after erasing the flash u are in maskomode
          6. Click "Upgrade"
          7. wait until its done.

          GL

            Thanks again!!

I flashed with AndroidTool 2.1 and it worked right away.
It's a shame that Netflix was running so bad with KK since it was very fast and good looking, I hope we will have more stable future versions!

I am sure we will, just be patient. I will update the first post if we get some better working roms. By the way Finless will release his custom firmware, based on the official KK, soon.

                Danke shoen, Max One!

You solved the J22/CX919ii issues. This is the first bootloader/kernel/ROM combination that works flawlessly with my J22. No flickering, everything works. I know D33 and Finless did the development work, but you put it together.

This combination has worked for me too, but I have to admit that I have heat issues and am afraid that I might fry the chip since I do not have the modded heat sink/radiator.

Noderat's "all stock" kernel also made by stick hot when using Beyond XBMC. I will give it another try with 2.07 kernel and "minimal specifications" or similar setting in XBMC.

Thanks for putting this in one thread Max One.

                    Hi

Is there a way to hide the menue buttons to switch in fullscreen mode (like in the stock rom)?

                    TIA

Yes. Search in Play Store for GMD auto hide soft keys. Its better than stock. Im using it too and i like it.

The rom is quite good, but i can't turn off the USB mass storage mode. When i connect a usb device such as an game controller, the sd card with the games will removed.

Thanks MaxOne! I first had troubles flashing my J22 with AndroidTool 2.1('device not supported' or some sort of error when executing LowerFormat option). Flashed BT919_1123 image, and flashed again with AT2.1, flashing worked like a charm. Will test later on.

Although flashing went well, booting clearly does not. I got the same mobo as the OP (CYXTECH_RK3188_909 V1_1); both the combinations of kernel_AP6210-J22_SD_v207 & boot720 as well as kernel_AP6210-J22_HD_v207 & boot1080_large result in a bootloop after 2-3 seconds of the GoogleTV logo. Any ideas? For the time being going back to BT919_1123 :<
