Try to charge with power on screen off first, when it gets to 100% it will reset the battery stats, then on the next charge see if it's working from power off.

Already did this too... I think only kernel modification is the solution for my problem

This is not true! It's not a matter of the kernel.
Because for all the other tablets it is perfectly working!
You can try reflashig the whole ROM including the modded kernel.

As I posted before I already tried that too and thought did fix the problem but not... If you think its not true its all up to you. I'm just telling my experience here.

I'm telling only that it's not true that is a problem of kernel because NONE of the others have problems with the battery.
I missed the point that you already flashed everithing back.
Did you try also the "Battery calibration" app (not a similar app)?

I am now seeing the same issue as min0taur, I shutdown the tablet when it was at 33% and charged with power off. After a few hours I could see the charge level had increased on the battery icon for the off state but when I rebooted into Android it still said 33% though it then climbed much faster than normal. I will probably just stick to charging with power on.

Then probably I was wrong...now could be a problem of the kernel...

I have made a new kernel which should show a more accurate battery level when booted with the charger connected. There is also some other minor changes.

                  You can download it here.

Thanks Maakie, testing now and you were right, I had rebooted with charger connected in my previous post.

I bought a Pipo X5 Miracast Dongle. With stock kernel and even with yours one, pipo m6pro will automatically reboot as soon as "wireless display" connection is being performed. (it doesn't happen with JB)
Is there anything you can do to improve Miracast capability on our Pipo M6pro?

It is not a problem of kitkat or Pipo x5 dongle, because with other tablets with kitkat everything is working properly.

                      Hope you can help!

                      thanks in advance.

Maakie - thanks for the awesome kernel. My M6 is running rock solid with it. I can also use the overclocked versions as well, which I couldn't do with other kernels. One thing I have noticed though is that my WiFi signal seems weaker with your kernels. It still works, albeit a little slower, so its not the end of the world. The pluses of this kernel definitely outweigh this issue. Having said that, is there anything that can be done to boost the WiFi signal? Once again thanks for all your work on the kernel.

You can try other mod kernel with different parameters of the Ram freq that could affect wifi signal reception.
Try and see if you have issue with ALL ram frequency ( = problem of the kernel) or with only specific settings ( = frequency interference, and not a matter of kernel)

Hi, I own a M8HD, so this thread is not for me.

But, I made a logcat of the crash when using wireless display with a Pipo X5

don't know if it can't be usefull :

I also notice the following these are missing in kernel :

Can audio usb support and wired heaset support be added easily ?

The pressure and Temperature sensors are in the mainboard I believe but not used in kernel.

Hopefully someone could do the same for M8HD

                              thanks,
if you need I have received the stock ROM installed on Pipo X5, it could be useful to made some mods.

(For example pipo X5 doesn't support special characters for the PW as "&" or "+" and so on in DLNA mode)
if you appreciate my efforts this is the link for any donation:

Is there anything you can do to improve Miracast capability on our Pipo M6pro?

It is not a problem of kitkat or Pipo x5 dongle, because with other tablets with kitkat everything is working properly.

                                Hope you can help!

                                thanks in advance.
I don't have Miracast device which makes this problem hard to fix for now.
