And was bought in currys...

Battery last 4-6 hours depending on screen,wifi etc... not sure on stand by time as not left it long enough to find out..

the one you looked on their website is 7d g3, but if u in the store will shown diff one which is 7 g3, i asked their staff even they dont know why loool

Well according to arnova site the 7 g3 comes with 8gb ram only .. 7d is either 4 or 8... I guess yours is 4? So should be a 7d

but my one is 4gb and 7 g3 on the box ( 1GB system storage + 1GB ram + 2GB SD storage )

It is 7g3 NOT 7d g3....totally dif tabs...and uk version of 7 g3 only has 4gig internal..

Nevermind he's not going to get this he's getting a 99.99 one from currys with android 4 and google play already on it called a versus 7" touchpad ( apparently this was on offer last week for 79.99 ) but to late now .. It's got similar battery life of around 4 hrs .. Was going to invest in a iPad 2 like mine but he's needs another car lol so 100 is is limit)

Looked at that and a few reviews and decided against it as seems more like a very cheap chinese knock off and as yet no one ,managed to root it..also when we played with it in currys it had a very dark screen,view angles are bad, only two point touch and camera was bad... but hey it is cheap..

Right well I'll tell him it don't sound to good..try and persuade him to get your one or the one I got .. And nice to get feed back on these other devices.. Know anything about the 7" gotab ? This was on ideal world this morning but little more money 129

The GoTab looks like it's made by Yarvik but it might just be the same name! Difficult to tell from the Ideal World site.

Yes, the 7G3 from Curry's/PC World is rooted out of the box, I bought mine from there last weekend and I'm happily running Titanium Backup with Superuser & SetCPU.

IMHO the 7G3 is much better than the Versus, I wasn't at all impressed with the screen on the Versus, viewing angles were poor and the screen felt sticky, not nice to use at all. Battery life is around 4hrs on the 7G3 and it seems to loose about 1% or less of battery capacity in 8hrs of standby which I consider to be pretty good after my Hannspad!

One more thing he asked.. How goods the app support for it on google play?
And with setcpu did you get and more out the proccessor
Update which method in the end makes google play etc work as bit confused with diff posts I see in here..as will help my m8 with this
