    No I dont want to touch the kasty ROM sorry. However the dump he used from J-weidner is the same dump I have posted. It's stock. But I do plan to root it and increase space etc for my custom rom verion.
    It's time right now! I am working on 2 other ROMs that have bugs.

        Of course but it is a lot of work.

        You have to take the systemUI.apk apart and edit the PNG resources. Then you "may" have to also edit the framework-res.apk. You will need APK tools to do all this installed including the Android ADK.

        But you can try this place.

        You will need to copy these 2 files from your tab onto sdcard and pass them to UOT Kitchen.
        framework-res.apk
        systemUI.apk
        Then using the kitchen make changes to the statu bar!

          I tried the UOT kitchen, but no result, the only thing that changes is the battery..
          And I just want the status bar to be white, can you please explain me how to do it?

            I would have to write a book to explain how to do it!
            Your going to have to get the google SDK and start studying.

              Is it that much work?

              I have already extracted
              SystemUI.apk
              and
              framework-res.apk

              and edited some PNG's didn't really work out..

              All that changed is the settings background.

                    Your going to need APK Tool. Then you will take apart SystemUI.apk.

                    In the taken apart APK in the RES folder will be all the PNG files. You will need a graphics program like GIMP and a PNG9 tool. You will edit the graphic image for the status bar. Then you will need to reassmeble the systemui.apk.

                        My first arnova broke my kids , then i bought yarvik tabs but no i have another arnova because i find these tabs much better

                          Just in case you have been looking at ROM's from the other forum, be aware there is a rooted ROM based on this new dump. I have tested both versions.

                          Beware that the optional 1gb version causes instability and lags in everything.

                          The published version which offers half of the app space runs smoother, but you are very limited on room for apps.

                          You will find that several apps on GP aren't compatible with this device, which I understand is an ICS thing, not a ROM thing. Some apps aren't changed over to the new file system as of yet.

                          In case you are wondering, Netflix still won't work with this new ROM.

                          It appears that Arnova has improved wifi stability for one thing.

                          I know that Bob is busy adding 2.1 versions to all of his other ROM's right now, but I think this new kernel is finally worth the effort to do his usual magic with. Adding Ext4 will likely make these ICS tabs scream.

                            My problem is I do not have a ICS tab to test with. I bet you if I DUMP the Arnova ICS system and go with something liek the Cube ICS system usign the Arnova kernel (like my 2.1 ROM) I can VASTLY inprove the 10 G3.

                            Unfortunatly that is almost impossible with having a G3 to work with.

                            What gets me is the G3 guys can flash my G2 2.1 ROM and it works. But not the other way around. Seems as though Arnova made the ICS kernel to NOT be compatible with the G2. It wont even boot to a working ADB to even debug!
