Hello got the Vega S89-H XBMC plays gread everything HD, 3D. The only problem is when I try to play avi files quality looks horrible. The only way to make it look good is turn off amcodec under video options, but when I do that xbmc crashes on all MKV files. Alonso tried changing to software instead of hardware decoding then HD is choppy. Any suggestions?

Try using MX player instead for videofiles, XBMC is great for music and other things, but not for video playback...

I get a better picture quality with XBMC (H/W acceleration on at all three) than with the latest MX pro (h/w) at mkv's with h.264...
Maybe at avi's with e.g. divx MX will be better but have only mkv's with h.264 or BlueRay iso...
