Is there anyway you can walk me through how to change permission and how to edit the script. i am new into Android. The mac address which I will put on will remain same all the time. It does not change after the reboot right? Thanks

I was able to change the file permission and edited script, but when I run the script I get this message
"RTNET LINK answers: Device or resource busy"
Do you know the solution of this problem? Thanks

I was able to run the script. I had to use down link to put ethernet down and ran the script. I can see the mac address and it shows the right mac address but when I download a program to verify my mac address it gives a different mac address

Has anyone been able to run high bitrate 1080p files (>9 Mbps) from NAS over the LAN (wired) connection without stuttering (using my POPCORNHOUR streamer I don't have this issue so it is not a NAS or LAN problem).

What about 3D movies without stuttering - I get a big playback slowdown?

Lewy. TVM for the work on the roms, nearly all works fine. Is there an easy way to get Bluetooth keyboards working with the 1.0 vers. Mine tethers, just will not function once tethered. The same keyboard works fine with the KK beta that Geekbuying limked, so not a hardware problem. The supplied remote with the Q7 is pants, so really could do with getting bt key/flymouse to work. Would it be possible to take all BT files from KK and replace in your rom ?

Does this ROM have larger app storage than stock? Stock has 1gb and I have filled it very quickly with not to many apps. I will like to install some more games for my children (q7 works very well with Bluetooth sixaxis controller) and of course I can't.
If this ROM doesn't have larger app storage (2gb would be enough) does any other have?

You have a point there. I found the recovery button and I put the lewy20041 firmware to the box. Everything went fine but when I connect it to my TV it doesn't turn blue by itself . It only turns red and when I push the power button and it turns blue on the screen appears an X sign with a circle going around it, What did I done wrong?

I followed lewy20041 procedure and it shows green at the end that it was done correct but although all this the moment I connect it to the Tv and turned it On as it doesn't turn blue by itself ,it gets stuck in the welcome screen. Anyone has an idea what could this be the cause?

I was able to change the mac address but now the problem is each time I reboot It gives me different mac address. I also tried to change the file permission of static mac folder and put the static address there but for some reason it does not work. How can I make a script which run each time I reboot my box and give me my fix mac address. Thanks

there will be script for static mac in init.d folder.
just a permition change and you should be good.
