Antoher question tough: I only stream videos from different online sources and nothing local with XBMCZ, and as far I understand the "eHomeMedia and MX Player" don´t have that opportunity or can you make these startup even if you initiate the stream in XMBCZ?
All of us would love to use the XBMC the way you want too, but it was not designed for that ... If you build a XBMC with "StarStageKiller" in it, it will still not handle 1080p video playback very well ... You can use the MXPlayer as a option for video playback with the Beyond XBMC, but not with the XBMCZ ...

        Help

I'm very new to android (noob), I was following your instructions but the usb wasn't connecting to the kingo app but moboro had it verified and shown as connected. I went and I tried resetting the CS968 box but I keep getting the android logo with the box inside the android turning.

I tried another method using rkbatchtool but I couldn't get the usb(otg) to connect properly to the pc. I get this error on in the device manager :
unknown usb device (device descriptor request failed)

What do I do ? how do i fix it?
        Thanks

in order to get the device connected you have to let moroboro identify the device as nexus 7. Then let the kingo app recognize the device as nexus 7.
also make sure you have usb debugging on and connect to PC checked off in your settings. If you are using windows 8.1 you may have an issue with the device being recognized by your PC. I did research somewhere and someone posted a fix somewhere but I couldn't figure it out so I just used an older laptop I had with windows 7 and it worked like a charm.
Hopefully you can figure it out because this rom is awesome .
          my thanks to tech1

            See The Difference

            My Custom 4.4 KitKat ROM Build On The Bottom Top Photo Is On A 1080p TV Screen ... My Custom 4.4 KitKat ROM Build In Lower Photo With Icons Is On A 720p TV ... This Is How I Test All My Custom ROM Builds {I believe Even Stevie Wonder Can See The Difference}

Tech1, would you mind giving me a little insight into your process of making custom roms? I'd like to try my hand at it but am having a hard time getting up to date consice info about it.

What tools do you use? Do you use android kitchen? Do you do it in linux (virtualized or not)? What are some of the tweaks you do. Any info and help would be greatly appreciated and very helpful.

They are several ROM kitchen on this forum, explaining things you need to know ... Now to be honest with you, it's not a over night thing, it's something that takes time to learn ... I started out with Windows mobile 5 devices and making cab files app back in the day ... When Android came out I learned all I could about Android devices and the Android OS ... Like I said, it takes time to learn this stuff ...!

May I ask which specific kitchen(s) you use.

                      hotspot

Ben bu ROM yükledim, ama hotspot çalışmıyor.
WiFi hotspot çalışmıyor ve benim telefon çalışıyor ama göremiyorum.
I installed the 4.4 ROM but none hotspot in the third one did not work and naturally ehomecent program does not see the phone.
This problem KitKat 4.4 ROMs chronic problem?

Great Rom, but a couple of issues

                          HI Tech;

This has to be the best ROM that iv'e seen for my Mtk839 Cozy unit. I do have a couple of issues though. I hope you can offer some insight to.

                          1) When video set to 1080 in android settings screen will flicker on and off throughout most applications.

If I set to 720 it's does it alot less and lowest settings doesn't do it at all. Any idea why my Android box would do this?

                          2) I really would like to use eHomeMediaCenter as a default player in xbmc. Can you tell me how to set this up? I use both beyond xbmc and gotham beta 1. I really like Gotham but I really want to change the video player to something different.

I did a bit of research and found that I can modify the player file, but I can only find examples for mx player.

Thank You so much for such a great rom and I hope you can assist with my questions..

                            One more question about rooting

I am new to this, so please understand.

I followed instructions to a tee trying to kingo root. I can't seem to get the drivers to install properly
on the PC. I have windows 8.1 - Is there any way in particular that I should try to install them with this version of windows?

                            Thank YOu,

                            RJ

The word is, it doesn't work with a Windows 8.1 machine ... I don't know if this true or not ...

That's good ideal, because "eHomeMediaCenter" can handle large 1080p files ...

Concerning 1080p video playback, If you are using the HDMI cables that came with your CR11S/CS968 that's most likely the cause of your video flicker, I had the same problem ... The HDMI that came with your Android TV box, throw them in trash can, no good at all for high speed video transmission ...

Go MonoPrice and get the ferrite cores HDMI High speed cable {Not Called 1.4 HDMI Cables Anymore} is what you want with ALL your Internet TV devices, plus these cables have a Ethernet feature too ... Get them HERE http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_i...seq=1&format=2 for $3.00 each ...
