I'm having a rather thick moment but I can't find the new ROM. I went down to 0708 and downloaded the ROM which say New Firmware 20140504 {HTC T018 MTK Public ROM Build but when I unzip it it states modified date 14/5/14? Is this the right one?

All My Custom ROM builds are upscale with enhanced video resolution quality ... You can just outright see the vast difference via a 1080p TV screen compared to a 720p TV screen ...

Another difference between a 4.4 KitKat ROM build and a 4.2 ROM build, I cannot enhance the 4.4 KitKat ROM build any higher, than it current new level ... A 4.2 ROM build has a little room for improved video resolution quality ...

When I run CPU Z app it reboots?
It didnt do that before, and Hey man I dont know what you have done but now I se the improvment in resolution.

Nice to hear that, because then I dont need to leave this ROM. Wonder what the problem can be?

That's exactly what I'm talking about, if you have a certain app and it's causing your device to reboot, then that app is not for your device ...

A strong and simple solution is to remove the app, that's causing your device to reboot ... It doesn't mean something is wrong with the ROM, it means the app, that's causing the reboot is incompatible with the ROM build and it's not for your ROM build or device ...

Are you suggesting to turn of the hardware acceleration totally or just the mediacodec and still have libstagefrigt enable?
The option that totally disable the hardware acceleration means that all graphic will be handled by the CPU and not the GPU and when I tried that on the official version I could not say that the one or the another option is better. I think there is a lot of posts that suggest both ways?
Have you digged any deep into the HW acceleration on KitKat and XBMCZ integration. You seem to have the knowledge to make your own tests and present them here.

Yes, just turn off the mediacodec and still have "libstagefrigt Enable", this setting was also suggested by Flumpster, the Beyond XBMC creator ... I believe it works best with 1080p videos/ movies also, using a 4.4 Kitkat ROM build, due to the CPU is slightly faster ...
