Make sure there is not a quickshot-update.zip file on /sdcard, if the system detects it at reboot or shutdown it will leave you on TWRP.

This feature - to know - is useful, because it becomes a warning!


In the meantime, I did some testing with kernels no flickering ... for what it's worth, this is the result (maybe it can be useful).
if nothing else, you'll find that strain the processor dnt have greatest advantages

right, just cosmetic and changed the Explorer button to open es file Explorer instead of rkexplorer.

I believe they said their mod's to the Minix launcher are cosmetic... read the thread to find out for certain.

right, just cosmetic and changed the Explorer button to open es file Explorer instead of rkexplorer.

In the Launcher3 launcher... the status bar autohides when an app that is made for KitKat runs... so the issue is likely with the app you are trying to run in which case report the issue to the app's author.

If you have issues with the Minix Launcher... then report them to Minix... just because the Nitro Team included it as an option doesn't mean they can support it or make changes to how it works.

I'd strongly recommend getting an air mouse/keyboard soon if not quicker... the remote included with the Neo x7 is almost useless in most apps. It's ok for general navigation and selecting stuff that is highlighted but that is about it.

But the Nitro Team modded the minix launcher and I can't install and try the unmodded default minix launcher because it is the same apk signature.

All my streaming apps are direction input friendly now. Is a trend they moving towards to. I'm trying to cut down my usage to stock IR remote only.

Hi, how do i auto hide the status bar at the bottom?

Some bug in the minix launcher, when i press the add/plus button in the folder for the first time it will return back to launcher home page. Only the second time when pressing the add/plus button will it lead to the all adds page for me to select.

Also if i add more than 1 app in the folder, i can't select the 2nd app onwards using only direction inputs from stock minix remote. Pressing right will move to the add button instead of the second app.

I would like to report a problem I discovered and is suffering from "Reebot"...
Often, when you make a reboot (not soft-reeboot) the system will boot into recovery (TWRP).

It happened more than once: the first time I thought I was wrong, but now I'm sure you do not make mistakes ...

Unfortunately TWRP is controlled only with mouse/keyboard, so it's a nuisance more... I solved with Quickboot from playstore

Good job Nitro Team, Great rom. Just need xbmc gotham to be so good like frodo build are on Quickshot v2. Hard to chose v2 or v3 QS rom for me.

Finless 2.0 kitkat rom is based in a previous sdk, so much libraries will not work in the sdk used to build this rom, but anyway feel free to test if they works, and please tell it to us.

NTFS is supported in the rom kernel without need of external aplications, but HFS not Apple is special, they want to be special, and not all is for good
My suggestion, if you want to use this hdd in all your devices (not exclusively apple ones) Format it to other (more standard) filesystem type supported for most platforms.

I'll just use it from the network for now, because reformatting it NTFS is a bit difficult for now, since I don't have another free HDD to transfer all media to. OS X is NTFS formatting able, the HFS formatting was purely my choice . On Quickshot v2 the Paragon mounting trick worked , so I didn't bother reformatting the HDD.

So I have found some more information. On the dutch forums I found out that the Finless 2.0 Kitkat rom Does support HLS Smoothstreaming, as confirmed by Bob the great:
